Every week I am more amazed by Adam’s talent. Luckily I have my Tivo set to record 5 minutes longer on Idol and saw his performance tonight. He reminds me of Freddie Mercury … almost.
I did NOT like Adam’s performance at all. My DVR also cut off is spot, and after a lot of hunting, I watched the video and was left disappointed. He did a poor mimicry of the same version that was in the movie Donny Darko.
The judges need to stop talking so much. For Lil they basically said the same thing four different ways. Then by the time they got to Matt they each said two words. And Adam got no comments, that standing ovation was a cop out. My DVR didn’t record his performance, and I’m bummed. Watching it on my computer is not the same as watching it on my large high-def TV. It’s so lame that they can’t time a 1-hour program any better. If the judges are going long then whoever’s in charge should be cutting them off.

Adam was brilliant once again. Everyone else pales in comparison. Has Simon ever given anyone a standing O? I have watched every year and don’t remember him doing that except on the finale. Scott should finally go home.Scott,Lil and Anoop in the bottom three.

I thought I was good to listen (close my eyes) once through each performance and then watch it (I do this every season on the one-hour shows), and still got screwed – cut off before Adam – I hate FOX!
Kris should not go home tomorrow. Why does Idol underrate him so? I’m voting for him some more. It would be sad to see Kris go and Scott or Lil stay.
My husband, who has been a Danny Gokey fan since day 1, said “I hate to admit this but Danny is really just a hack singer when you listen closely”. Truer words were never spoken my love!
Adam truly is in a league all his own. What a unearthly vocal performance. Tender, moving and stellar.
Seriously??? Adam’s performance was NOT the best of the season. Michael, it hurts my heart that you’ve hurled yourself onto the Adam bandwagon. He was fine–but not spectacular. But the producers put him in the pimp spot and spent all the lighting money on him. Matt put on a STELLAR performance–his best so far–and, IMO, Adam’s paled in comparison. I’m not disparaging him, I just think that people (and the producers) have their heads so far up his butt that they can’t think correctly. It reminds me of the Team Edward phenom–and that’s not a compliment.
And Kris got the shaft today–#2 spot AND performing in the mosh pit?? The song wasn’t his best but it wasn’t BAD. If he goes home before Lil/Scott (as Dial Idol seems to indicate) I will be royally pissed off. But Allison rocked it as always!!!
Alison, Adam,Matt,& Anoop had the best performances of the night… Danny’s performance & Kris was okay but not great… Scott & Lil were reaaallly BAD! Scott should go and Lil to follow… OR maybe some one else should get voted off… the judges save them… THEN… Have a double illimination… Scott & Lil next week!!! Now that will make for a historic moment on idol!!! hehehe!
