As for you Adam haters and all of the talk about gay, when you are being entertained, do you want to listen to the music or have sex with the artist?
This is 2009. Get over yourselves.
I really think Adam should be voted off but maybe not for a few ore rounds. Hes better then a few of them but Danny voice and story are both better.
By the way may I ask why people want Danny voted off yet he lost his wife so no sorrow for him are you really that heartless?
You know when some one asks me if you could go on a do what they do I think… can any guy do what Adam does? With that in mind I think he should be voted off around 5th because of his high voice singing I just don’t like it much..
I don’t get the anti Adam comments. I am 51 years old with a degree in music. This guy is the real deal. He has it all… voice… control… and is am amazing performer. While some people sing the words… you can tell Adam “feels” the music. He should win idol based on the “total package” but he will go places with or without the win. My friends and co-workers all agree, as does my daughter (23 and son (27)… who just happens to be a professional musician. We all agree we would pay money to see Adam in concert tomorrow, even if all he did was covers.
Danny has a good voice and sings very well, but just does not have the stage presence he should. I am still not sure where he is musically. Allison will be recording soon. She was one of the most unique voices I have ever heard. She has an incredible stage presence. I have to remind myself she is 16 yrs old. We will be seeing more from several in this group. Of note, it is AI, not a “boy-next-door” look competition.
This isn’t “Backstory Idol.” Danny shouldn’t win based solely on the fact that his wife passed away. The person with the most talent and marketability should win. Period.
I agree with the comments that we are witnessing the birth of a superstar with Adam Lambert and lets just get to Adam and Allison. I find myself irritated listening to the okay singers until one of those two come on. Danny is like Taylor Hicks, nice guy with okay voice and no stage presence while singing.
I had never heard “Mad World” until I heard Adam sing it. It’s a very powerful song, and he delivered it. The guy is a one of a kind talent and everybody knows it. He’s attractive, controversial, and his own man. Love him, and I’m a 33 year old straight guy into extreme wrestling. Go figure. I’d pay to see him perform. The others – maybe if they were free at a theme park I’d go see them.
Adam is absolutely my favorite singer ever. Ring of Fire and Mad World show true genious. I’ve downloaded all of his performances and will buy anything he records. His pitch and voice are absolutely perfect.
I don’t get all the hoopla over Adam. He didn’t make Mad World his own, all he did was copy REM’s version. Honestly his high notes hurt my ears. And the Ring of Fire debacle….enough said.
I think of this group, Allison has the most potential and marketability. Sure she has some rough edges, but that is what makes her likeable. Adam? He seems too polished, no room for improvement at all, and he just is not that good right now.

Adam haters, are you kidding me? What planet did you drop off of?? Adams’ voice & showmanship ARE A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH…NO ONE in any AI season has even come close to his magical genius on stage. That’s why he’s unforgettable & the world can’t stop buzzing about him. Like him or not, he’s here to stay. He’s already a respected entertainer & household name just as Elvis & the Beatles were and STILL ARE! Think about it, there’s nothing he CAN’T do. It’s so exciting to witness history in the making just as people witnessed many years ago w/ Beatles & Elvis (Mania). Hang on to your seatbelts Adam haters, because AdamMANIA has already begun! Even HE won’t know what hit him when he embarks a new breed of screaming fans on HIS first tour,(just as the Beatles & Elvis encountered)..lol..WOW..he’d better get plenty of bodyguards!! He’s already a SuperStar ppl, get used to it. AND if YOU don’t like him, then why are you on this blog? Let us Adam lovers indulge! VOTE! ADAM LOVERS, VOTE!!
