This would make for one of those achingly clumsy, cringingly scripted moments that Hollywood and its willing idiots seem to never get enough of. We saw it during episodes of the old Saturday Night Live when political figures of the day tried their hand at prime-time humor and failed miserably. The worst example is JFK Jr showing up on Murphy Brown like a grinning, self-important mannequin. The only effects were from the retarded bee-yatches in the audience who creamed their undergarments like moronic eleven-year olds. Michelle Obama is already overexposed in the media. She’s just not that interesting, charming, or attractive to warrant all that attention.

Michelle Obama on 30 Rock? Only if she is funny. That should be Criteria one. And as far as her “doing her job” or whatever, she is the First Lady, not the President. I didn’t vote for her to run the country, I voted for Barack. Frankly if she has the time to spare after logging in her “support time” hours, then why not do it?

When I read this I was thinking about what Jack said about wiping that smile off Michelle Obama face. That would be perfect casting except for some reason I don’t think Ms Obama would do well in a scripted cameo. But I would love to see her on the show.

Michelle should be in a flashback, maybe Jackie D could be recounting something that happened during the election, and he tells Michelle that she dresses WAY better than Sarah Palin, then flashes back to Jack saying it was worth spending all that money for Palin to look good. I know Tina is so down to make fun of all the stupidity over the way these ladies dress instead of focusing on the issues. I know she must be laughing at all the coverage over how the ladies are dressing. I love the Obamas, but the media focusing on clothes? Really?
