And now for an actual comment *glares at bot commenter* That was incredibly powerful. Kudos to Joe and Keira for that.

holy cow! if that doesn’t drive the point home I don’t know what does.

wow this psa was so moving and it also made me feel pretty pissed too after i watched it…i hope that this awareness campaign can encourage someone who is currently in this type of situation get some help

Very powerful spot, Keira is one of my favorite actresses. Hopefully it will move some people and lead to some changes.
But speaking of changes, I am sick of this spam, like elvagreen8886′s trash below, appearing on all of EW’s comments pages now. EW goes out of their way to censor what people write, now makes you type in those bot killer letters and seem to monitor everything but they can’t keep this trash off these pages? Are you kidding me?

So Umm, how does donating 2 pounds stop spousal abuse?
This seems rather exploitive and gimmicky.
The commercial is basically saying this:
“DONATE MONEY TO US OR WOMEN WILL BE MURDERED BY THEIR HUSBANDS!!!!! DONATE NOW OR YOU ARE AN EVIL UNFEELING BASTARD!”
I do hope the money goes somewhere where it can do some good, like women’s shelters or something. But the cynic in me makes me worry that much of the money will be pocketed by some buerecrat.

to asdf, did you watch until the end of the PSA? it DOES go to a program, women’s aid… & if it makes you feel like a unfeeling, evil bastard, then donate :)

    Wow. That was really moving.

We have much larger problems in the US. Men are the victims in most cases of domestic violence but men do not have shelters to turn to. Now the sexist misandrist feminists are targetting little children. Feminism is a sickness that is based on misandrist hate. Knightley is a stupid retard for promoting feminist hate propaganda.

Feminists forcing girls to make FALSE claims of rape

Jennifer, do you know anything about domestic violence? Women constitute over 95% of the victims in the United States. For the remaining (less than) 5% of the victims–males–there certainly ARE shelters for them as well. Why don’t you do some research before posting bogus comments?
This PSA is moving and I’m impressed that a well-know celebrity is willing to speak out about domestic violence.

Jennifer, thank you for exposing the feminist lies about abuse and violence. I am sickened by the video showing little boys being abused by the feminists. It is very shocking that the feminists are making girls claim false rape in government funded houses.
