My daughter was watching a cartoon on Nickelodeon the other day and one of the characters, a cow, lamented the loss of a rug and how it “really tied the room together”. She was very confused when I began laughing hysterically. I love it when you see something really seeping into random stuff like that.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the rug wasn’t stolen, was it. I thought it was just … soiled. The Dude stole the Big Lebowski’s rug to replace it, but the actual “tied the room together” rug was still there, just not usable any more.
