Spring and summer are wedding season, and whether you’re getting hitched or getting stuck buying the last item on the registry (everyone needs a pepper grinder!), you’re bound to witness something delightfully or dreadfully tacky (we’re talking to you, DJ who insists on playing the same songs you’d hear at a 6th grade dance!) But, nothing, and I mean nothing will even come close to the horrors on display at tackyweddings.com, unless of course you happen to be in (the bridesmaids are the true victims here) or attending a Hello Kitty, goth, or hunting-themed wedding. You’ve got to give these folks some credit for breaking with convention, but all of these weddings RSVP a big, glaring NO.

Well, as someone who’s planning a pop-culture themed wedding (I wanted Back to the Future, but I think we’ll settle for playing 50s/80s music), I can’t knock “tacky” weddings too much. I totally support people who march to the beat of their own drummer, as long as they’re not torturing their friends and family in the process.
