I think I’d like Clay to be on the show again, but it would make more sense if it was around the time he was having a single or CD come out (so that would maybe be for next season?).
But hands down, I would love for Michael Johns to perform on the show!!! He could perform his upcoming, new single (and also discuss his album being released in June).
Also, David Cook should be allowed on Idol whenever he wants. He’s just THAT amazing.

Clay Aiken would be my first choice to come back and sing on the show. Without a doubt he is the most naturally gifted singer/performer in the shows history. My second choice would be him again.

THANK YOU Adam, for finally saying what a big group of us (I’m sure of it) have been thinking while watching this season! I think I was already feeling that by Hollywood Week…I already missed David Cook’s likeable, but not in-your-face personality and not to mention his always diverse performances. While I DO have quite a few opinions about this year’s contestants….and I do very much enjoy some of them….none of them quite possess his professionalism/calm confidence/self-deprecating humor. I’ve been coming to understand that he can not be beat. Besides, they already lost me when they didn’t include Ricky Braddy in the Top 13.
I’ll miss you and Smirkel’s on-the-scene recaps…I laughed out loud quite a few times while reading this one.

Adam – I miss David Cook too! Thank you for pin pointing the problem with this season. I enjoyed the singing without the drama last season. All of these people are already on my nerves and it’s only week three! Can we just get them to replay a David Cook performance from last year, each week?? That would help – even before the hair cut!

An AI reunion show sounds fabulous! I would love to see first and foremost Clay Aiken because he is the consumate performer. I would also love to see Elliot Yamin!

I think we need to see the winners of each season, possibly with the runner-ups to do a special 1time reunion performance… maybe as a special segment to their “Idol Gives Back” Show… and if this happens, I want my ticket for the front row! I really think all of the idols that have made it thus far in the industry owe some thanks for the fact that no one knew a lick about these people til their faces on Fox’s best talent show. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it! (A little country lyric for our Idol Country Girls…and guys!)
