Hey Joe why is it wrong for actors to talk about these issues and give advice, what makes one group of individuals more able to answer these questions than other group. Everyone should have the right to say their peace. Everyone should have some type of epiphany, in what will work in our world to bring Peace and Harmony to this Planet, whether he be an actor, or a garbage dumptruck driver….

Wow, Eddie Almos is awesome. I am huge fan of BSG and I’m even part of a team of friends that does podcast on BSG. I am also a long time EW reader, so I appreciate you reporting on this and I hope that people who are not fans of BSG, yet….will rent the DVD’s and then they will be able to witness this amazing story of humanity’s struggle to survive and ability to band together in the most difficult circumstances. It’s story is applicable to so many of our daily lives and shows that all the bitterness and hatred that continues to breed in our society is waste of time and energy. Fare-thee-well BSG. It’s been a honor.

There is only One human race. I know that intellectualy but I still find myself defining race in the same backward way as our forbearers. Mr. Olmos is right, our DNA proves there really is only one human race on our planet; the distinctions made by early anthropologist were a lie created to sanction everything from war to slavery. We teach these distinctions to our toddlers and they become ingrained as we split into cliques and castes. Long after it has ceased to matter we still use these old classifications.
