Will 'Maximum Ride' be the next 'Twilight'?

They are 2% bird, 98% human, not half and half. Please keep the Jonas brothers away from this movie! I can’t stand them. Oh well, I’m a fan of Avi Arad, if not Catherine Hardwicke, so who can say for sure at this point if the movie’ll turn out well? If they find the right actors, it might be okay. I’ll stay optimistic.
OMG Yes I’ve been waiting for this forever!!!!! When are the auditions My friends all think I’m just like Max and I would love a chance to see if i can play her!!!!!!!!!!! This is gonna be awesome! But I stress apon this this the readers imagine normal everyday kids so Catherine if you go putting big name stars in these roles it will ruin itfor the loyl book fans.
God, please no Disney numskulls. No Jonas Brothers. No Selena Gomez. No Corbin Bleu (not to mention that none of these guys/girls have the physical traits or attractiveness to portray Max or Fang).
And Maximum Ride the book will always beat out Twilight the book. Not sure about the movie though.
Fang? hearthrob? ok, Max likes him, and he likes her, but do not try to make Fang the sexy guy. Please! you will ruin the movie if you do. Try someone more serious-looking. remeber how he always has that dark angel with atitude air about him? remember that when ur picking someone to play Fang.
Please keep disney channel and all of those actors/actresses out of the movie. This is an action/adventure book that should have actors just like the charcters.
God, if they try to make Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas Max and Fang, I’m gonna be soooooo mad.
I think Fang SHOULD be the hot guy, hot guys attract people and if it brings in the viewers, maybe more people will read the awesome Max-R Stories! I made my parents read them too! And Fang used to be my dream date, so, he had to be good looking to some extent, right?
DO NOT PLAY SELENA GOMEZ FOR ANY PART! Dakota Fanning is the right age too though, so she’s okay!
Can’t believe it’s finally going to happen and be a movie, but if all these disney stars take over, I wouldn’t ever watch it. Think it might be pretty cool though xD

I thought it was terrible as was the acting. It created a crazed fan base of ed-girls and they are now a dangerous species to be involved with.
I LOVE the MR books and I’m terrified that Catherine will ruin it for me just like she did in Twilight.

Like what a lot of people have said, we can’t really compare them. Sure, the summary may sound cheesy and lame, but I really enjoyed Maximum Ride, more than Twilight in fact. It’s more action packed, and it moves along faster. The fourth book was a let down though.
But please, NO DISNEY, NO CATHERINE.
Please please please PLEASE NO DISNEY CHARACTERS!!!!!! i hope an unheard of cast is…. cast!!! except for the guy who plays wolverine in x men (forget his name) but hed make a great Ari!!
Also…Max is part Hispanic. So you should make her look it. Just don’t ruin Iggy. If you ruin Iggy…well I wouldn’t be surprised. The director has no talent.
Maximum Ride is much smarter than Twilight, thank you very much. I’m personally excited about this news, and I don’t think Hardwicke can mush it all up, not with Avi Arad being the producer.
I just hope they cast unknowns to be the Flock. No one currently in Hollywood right now really fits the characters for me.
Actually, they’re 2 percent bird only, and 98 percent human. Joe Jonas would be perfect as Fang….kinda. But I think we should find new talent. And Max has to have (wavy) brunette(not black) hair and brown eyes…and about 5 foot 8 inches tall. Selena Gomez is a few inches too short.
