Uh, well, that sounds awful.
Hopefully, the voters are starting to step up to the plate and voting for something other than backstories. I’ll make odds that Danny and Lil are out before the top 3!
Kris-Allison-Adam Final 3 sounds AMAZING. As Kristin says, “Put the ‘Go’ in ‘Gokey’!”
since there isn’t a danny gokey there, sounds good to me!! adam and alison definately deserve the finals anyway.
I think the likelihood of a Kris-Allison-Adam Final 3 is about zero. A Danny-Adam-Alexis final is a lot more likely. Lil and Anoop are R&B, and R&B is so very, very out right now. Allison is also great, but rock is out as well. Kris as some promise, but he’s just not strong enough; unless things seriously improve, he’ll never survive the theme weeks. Danny isn’t as commerical as the other two, but fits well into the Elliot niche. Adam is very current, and will be successful regardless. Alexis has real chops, and could be a very interesting crossover artist.
Watching Idolatry is better than watching Idol (especially the results shows) Keep it up Slezak – you rock!

granted i am not a big fan of adam (I am not a fan period)
but seeing allison and kris in the finale would be amazing! kris is the only real musician on this season the rest are mere vocalists

Wow. I love the sound of that final three. Of course what makes me nervous is that Kris and Allison were both dwelling near the bottom of the dialidol.com results, for whatever that’s worth. I think those two will need some strong performances very soon or they may be in real trouble.
And my lack of Danny like continues… is that guy a tool or what?
I loved the recap!! Kristen, if you’re going to Hell for your comments about Danny, then I’ll definitely see you there. I CAN’T STAND HIM. Also, I think a Kris/Adam/Allison top three would be excellent, but a part of me thinks Alexis has the best shot of being the last girl standing. Finally, I do have to disagree with something you said. Megan is hotter than Jesse. Jesse may have given a sexier performance (with Tell Me Something Good), but Megan is drop dead gorgeous.
Allison and Adam maybe…but Kris??? He’s singing is medicore at best and can never beat Danny’s or Adam by a mile, he can’t get to the finals based on being cutsie and singing with a crooked mouth.
Sorry Kris but i do think you are a wonderful sweet guy but AI is not about being sweet.

While I would like to see Allison last longer in the contest, I don’t have high hopes for her ending up in the final three. I do agree that an Adam/Danny/Alexis final three seems most plausible to me at this point. I am also one who does not find Danny to be very appealing. Adam is my favorite all the way, and I can’t imagine him doing anything to change that, unless he comes out one week and says he eats babies or throws rocks at little old ladies. I really wish he would sing something in his beautiful softer musical-theater voice..it is just gorgeous and not “screechy” at all.
Hilarious observation about Simon hating bird songs! I see now that it is true, although I never would have picked up on it myself.
I really don’t see Kris lasting long in this contest either. I predict he’ll be gone before the final six.

Alison has an awesome voice and fits a niche, but both of her songs sounded identical. Will she be able to show some light&shade as a performer? Dunnoh. Danny is the worst sort of tool. I cannot believe the judges blasted Anoop for being awkward and gave Danny a pass. I’d go so far as to label Danny with Simon’s favorite putdown – Self-indulgent. Gah! Kris is cute and enthusiastic, but does he have the voice to make it? And Alexis is just, yuck. She’s very pretty but she is trying WAY too hard and coming of as a real poseur. She isn’t half as good as she thinks she is. Dear Michael Sarver, please stop pulling faces like you’ve just eaten a gian chili cheese dog and are having digestive issues. I do not need to see your weak@ss ‘snarling’ every week, Mmkay? Besides, you look too much like Ron Perlman as Vincent on that old Beauty & The Beast TV show. That’s just not on. I really hope that both Matt and Anoop pull it out of the bag this week.
