While its nt her best, its better than anything Rihanna or Beyonce have put out this year.

    What are you talking about?
The video is great and it is different from all of her videos, that gives her a new flavor for that!

I like it. A different type of sexy. She’s been naked enough in videos. Also – boobs.

The video blows! The whole Doris Day thing at the end was cool, but they should have elaborated upon this more so.
Doris sneaking out in the middle of the night, scarf around her head, horn rimmed sunglasses on. She drives down to the waterfront and meets Marlon Brando type guys. They all start carousing and she’s writhing up against them.
Miss perky Doris Day in the grocery store. She’s at the checkout and a bag boy is giving her the eye. She bats her eyelashes towards him and begins sucking on her finger while no one’s looking. The bag boy lifts one of the brown paper bags and all the groceries come tearing through the bottom of the bag smashing on the floor at his feet. She coyly steps over the mess…winks at him and blows him a kiss. He looks over and there’s an old granny giving him a dirty look because she saw everything.
C’mon…this could have been so campy and so fun! The way the vid is now is BORING! If she’s basically going to a video artist, at least make good vids!

I thought it was pretty tame, too, but I did get the feeling that the character Britney was playing was, in fact, the mysterious Amy everybody is seeking.

Stereotypes tackled. 2 minutes into it costumes look a bit like cheer leading outfits.

Now thinking about it. It’s all a contradiction and has one theme. The sweet appearance isn’t always what it seems.

And btw..The Kelly Clarkson video was “hot”, but this is just “ok”? I love this website, but you all are some of the biggest Britney haters I’ve ever come across! This video wipes its ass with Kelly’s video.

I think everyone is thinking way too much into the meaning of the song. The controversy over the song is the title “If You Seek Amy”. Which if you say it quickly actually means “F-U-C-K Me”. So if you think about it, what she is saying is “All of the girls and all of the boys are begging to F*CK Me”. I get the meaning of the video, but that is not what the actual controversy is about. There is no character “Amy”. It just stands for something else.

dancing is probably the best its been since In the Zone. She looks really hot. Song is stuck in my head. Looks good to me.

Oh please critics always have to find some sh*&^ to trash. The video is great and the song is great as well!

By the way I’d like to point out something that I thought was obvious but judging from some of the comments apparently isn’t. THERE AIN’T NO AMY! If you seek Amy is her slick (ha ha) way of saying F U C K Me, as in “All the girls and boys are begging to F U C K Me” She’s just saying that everyone talks smack about me but you all still want to do me. No mystery girl named Amy ok people, this is Britney Spears here not Bob Dylan, quit looking for some deep meaning it’s just a stupid little pop song.

i think it was really good. she definelty took some cues from the lady gaga school of music videos but i dont mind. i like the raw edgier look for this video after the extremly polished circus video
