I was so looking fwd to iron man 2 until i found out scarlett johansson was in it. It’s not the right movie for her. who did the casting? i hope that person didn’t receive any bonus for recruiting certain individuals in the movie; that killed it. The Director, writer, did a fantastic job however next movie they should hire the person who does the recruiting for The Game created by Mara Brock Akil. watching scarlett doing martial art is liking watching the blond chick in kill bill. couldn’t they hire someone more beleivable: kelly hu, Maggie Quigley, Nicole Ari Parker someone more beleiveable

Does anyone else notice that when Johansson is in a good movie, people here say it wasn’t because of her, and when a movie ‘tanks’ it was because of her. I know the Spirit wasn’t your normal comic book movie, but that had nothing to do with Johansson.

Ye, Agreed dude. Scarlett will kinda kill the role, unless she like actaully takes time to make the role her own, ya kno wat I mean? Robert Dowey J.r was good as Ironman though.

Hate to drag this down even more but I have to agree with the haters. The idea of Scarlet in the role is just depressing. Blunt would have been so good!

I’m pissed. Scarlett? SCARLETT? She’s like the Beyonce of film roles…just wants to have it all and be everywhere all the time. Emily Blunt was the better choice before she dropped out of the project. Sigh. I don’t think I’m gonna watch this one.

Wow. What a bunch of haters! Scarlett is very talented. I hate Michael Bay, but I liked the Island. Scoop was great, as was The Girl with the Pearl Earring. I rush out to see all of her films. the Perfect Score was a lot of fun for a teenager flick. While I’m excited about this, I’d rather see her as Black Cat in a Spider Man film.

Where have all the Russian actresses gone? Should have gone with Oksana Akinshina. This is just the role she needed to prove her worth to American audiences.

Guess I’m not the only one who isn’t exactly thrilled about Scarlett in the movie. She may be decent in the role but that’s about all I expect from her. If Ironman 2 does well, it won’t be because of her. RDJ is the draw.

Although it would seem totally derivative of her role as Xenia Onatopp, I think that Famke Jansen would make a good Black Widow – or even Carrie Ann Moss. Let ScarJo play a damsel in distress.
