Oprah does not have all the answers and Rihanna doesn’t owe her anything. She needs to mind her business and let it be. She’s only doing it for ratings and I won’t be watching. Oprah is not perfect might I add. I remember her telling her audience she had an affair with a married man. If we could dig up each others past or what was done in secret I wonder what each of us would find. Hmmm!
Kia, if Chris Brown if allowed to beat Rihanna to a pulp for hitting him then we the fans are allowed to throw stones at him for hitting back. And Rihanna is innocent until proven guilty.
There is a small percentage of women out there that can beat a man’s but! But we know that a man’s hit is more powerful compare to a woman’s. What threat is rhianna to chris unless she has a lethal weapon and he needs self defense. Women die everyday at the hands of their abuser all over the world. America is one of the few countries where women are protected. This generation of chris browns are lost. They have no real values and respect nothing. Oprah should talk about it. Its a free country. We talk about things that makes no sense. The octuplet mom, who cares.
There are being several studies on domestic violence in the United States and I feel that men are forgotten to also be victims of domestic violence. Some studies show that in majority of the cases 40% of men are the victim due to society accepting that because women are usually smaller and weaker than men domestic violence is unacceptable. I think Oprah should just mind her business and focus on something more serious such as this falling economy incase she is too rich to realize that this is happening. You have states such as california that doesnt acknowledge domestic violence against males due to the lower reporting statistics. Do you think females would report the issue if they didnt get any support or their were no assisting programs that support victims, probably not. Men assume a third of the injuries which they are overlooked because of the severity of other womens injuries and we have to also remember that almost all the domestic violence assisting programs are women dominate.
Mark, thank you for the spelling lesson. Seems like you are a bit more familiar with “cajones” than the average joe…ummm, go figure. Anyway I’ll have more to say after La Rotunda (Mark check the spelling please) reveals her hatred of Black Men later today. The proof will be in the pudding. And Oprah knows a lot about pudding!
Peace…out
Joe
Thank you pamela smith-pintos. Finally a woman who sees the FULL picture…(now we know why the “Steadman” is silent about his ass-whuppings (Mark check the spelling please). I salute you pamela smith-pintos!
Pease …out
Regular Joe
PS – Is anyone interested in participating in an intervention for Steadman?
Joe
Male victims of domestic violence have nothing to do with this!…I’m not even sure why the hell that idiotic comment is posted. Judging by your name I assume your a female but, definitely a weak one to support such crap! By the way the Big O does plenty shows on how to survive in this falling economy…Get a life Pamela!
Oprah, need to mind her god dayum business. I mean who is she to tell somebody they’ll do it again. It’s like somebody telling her she’ll do crack again. I don’t understand how so many people can be concerned about this teenage shiit when the economy is going to hell. This isn’t nothing but a distraction. Everybody want to gang up and judge chris brown like he can’t get any help and he’s only 19.
Oprah, must going to be on that pipe again since she likes to judge others.
Who the fuk is oprah? She need to worry about her dyke ass relationship with gail. All up in this teenage shiit. Who is some folks to call somebody comments ignorant, because they don’t kiss the almight Oprah ass like she’s perfect. Please!
Oprah, keeping you dummies distracted with this small teenage shiit. Meanwhile the economy is being destroyed everyday. lol at folks getting mad because folks don’t agree with them and oprah.
prah isn’t god that’s why she should mind her business and she don’t know what we
Oprah acts as if she hate black men. The only black men she care for are the sissies like tyler perry or the ones that are married to white women like sydney portier. My point is who is she to judge someone? and why do grown ass people care about this teenage crap while folks are living in tents and struggling to make ends meet. Oprah wouldn’t like it if some one judge her for doing crack.
A WOMAN WHO IS AN ADULTERER, SERIAL FORNICATOR (NEVER MARRIED), SHACKS UP, USES ABORTION FOR BIRTH CONTROL, TEENAGE TRAMP UNWED MOTHER, AND CRACKHEAD IS NOT A PERSON WHO SHOULD BE CASTING STONES AT ANYONE
Oprah made a “rock” of cocaine and baking soda in the tube and heated it.”
He added that “[Oprah] then put the lit torch on the rock, inhaled and held the smoke in her lungs for a long time…We smoked at least a couple of times a week. Sometimes we would smoke up until her limo was waiting to take her to the studio to perform her show…”
WE DONT KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPEND OPRAH NEEDS HER FACT STRIGHT BEFORE STUCKING HER NOSE IN IT I LOVE CHRIS BROWN!!! WE NEED TO HEAR BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY
Rihanna said in one interview she hit her brother across the face with a glass bottle a few years back….ahhhhh? Maybe she is abusive too…nobody knows what happened. Shes forgiving him so maybe she started it. But beating the s*** out of her its worse, a man should not even be allowed to date a female after that. I applaud Oprah and have mad respect for her. Women need to stick up for other women…men too.
Oprah may not have a degree to talk about domestic violence, however, I do and she really does have some excellent information she is sharing. It is important to be willing to take a moment and visualize what it might feel like to have someone hurt you. Then imagine that person begs you to forgive them and pleads with you to stay with him and offers you gifts. Maybe he even convinces you that you “made” him hit you…how confusing that is…that is the reason separation is important to give both parties time to really understand what happened. Persons who batter frequently believe others cause them to do it, however, without time, counseling and separation, no change can happen…Carolyn Shawgo,LPC
Hello Oprah, Frist i want to start by saying everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I do belive that people can change…God made no one on this earth perfect..but his son JESUS & I dont know how many people belive in him but i do!God has given all of us a second chance..rather we want to belive it are not..So to say he might do it again..who knows? but not to give him another chance to get it right,i dont agree… but i do ask us to remember some of the things that we have done in our lives and had to ask forgivness for…and we never traveled down that road again..so lets give people a chance evan the people that feel like oprah is wrong…give her a chance to… we all make mistakes. The media & talk shows thats there job… to talk about whats going on in the world people lives…sometimes good and sometimes bad..but its a job and someone has to do it.So lets just pray for people especially when we do have nothing GOOD TO SAY!!!Have a good one ..Good People
