I’m just kind of over it all as far as who’s going to be cast anymore. I guess I need to read the book again, but the Voltari weren’t that huge a part of the whole story that I can’t stomach Fanning. I thought the second story was more about Bella & Jacob – that’s what I’m anxious to see.
Thomas Sangster would be flippin perfect! How could you have left him off the list?
Why is Tom Felton’s name there? How would he do Twilight and he as Harry Potter at the moment, the 2 films are filming at the same time.

Also, I love love love Twilight- I’ve been a fan of the books for over two years now and I thought the movie (though cheesy) was fairly true to the spirit of the books…
But I swear, if they cast a HSM person I will refuse to see the film. I don’t care how small the role is, Disney does not belong in Twilight.
Oh man, Culkin would be great. He can bring the spooky cherubic menace that the role demands.
Even though I don’t like the books or the movies, I’d be interested in seeing the Culkin scenes.

Chris, At least Elijah is old enough. Dakota is just a child and if the powers that be for New Moon were keeping with the book than she should not have been cast, as vampire children are forbidden.
PLEASE not Lucas Grabeel! Honestly, I don’t have anything against him, and I don’t dislike him just because he’s in High School Musical, but he doesn’t fit the part!
He’s too old, and Alec needs to look younger, around Dakota’s age.

I agree. Thomas Sangster is perfect now that he’s grown up a bit. And he kind of looks like Dakota too.
There is absolutly no way any disney actor can be in Twilight. no true fan would be happy about that! disney just doesnt belong in Twilight it is a totally different kind of acting!!! Justin Chatwin or Jermey Sumpter would be to best I think
half of the poll options are WAY too young. I would hope they aren’t going to even consider little kids. Dakota might be young but they can easily make her look years older, and she’s got a look of mature-ness that will make it extremely believable. I think she’s a great choice for Jane.

I’m torn between Lucas Grabeel and Tom Felton for this, I love them both. There are plenty of other good names on this list though. I’ve got love for Justin Chatwin and Liam Aiken to name a couple and whoever mentioned Logan Lerman was right too, he’s an excellent young actor.

seriously, did you guys not see milk? lucas graabel had a small part, but made sure everyone knew that he can in fact act and that he doesn’t need to be pigeonholed. i think, however, that the kid from ‘birth’ is the perfect mix of creepy/powerful/beautiful the character requires.
I can see Tom Felton playing Alec. Now…what about Aro?? Ben Barnes…definately!
I say an unknown, to be fair I only know about three of the guys on the list but of those three guys I don’t really see them having the drive to play such a dark character. Elijah Wood might be good but he’s too big of a name to take a small part (plus I wouldn’t be able to watch him without thinking of LOTR!) So no I don’t see anyone on the list playing such a dark mysterious character.
