Where's Sandy Cohen when 'CSI: Miami' needs him?

Thanks to the following sensationalistic promo for CSI: Miami that jolted me awake during last night’s Amazing Race (don’t hate — it was 2:30 a.m.), I’m painfully aware that The O.C.’s top mom, Kelly Rowan, stars in tonight’s episode as "Wife No. 1." Who would you rather be — Wife No. 1 or her in-love-with-each-other kids? Horrible question, CBS. A better one: Where the hell is Peter Gallagher to smack some sense into those hand-holders? Surf’s up, incestuous son and daughter! All of this nonsense is to say — God, I miss The O.C.

    Awkward!!!

First of all, props to CSI for quality guest stars. I would rather be the wife who found out her husband had a secret family than the teen who was in love unknowingly with her half brother. But I think that is only because I’m closer to teen, so the wife’s situation seems more remote.

And please renew Friday Night Lights so the actress who plays Julie Taylor isn’t wasted on crap like this!

  • Crystal

Wow, it’s people from The O.C, Kyle XY and Friday Night Lights. All better shows that CSI:Miami, I might add.

Isn’t everyone in love with their half-brother these days? Didn’t I just see this on an episode of ER/House/Bones/NCIS/SOMETHING? I swear.
All things would be greatly improved, however, by the inclusion of Sandy Cohen. All things.

all i can say is thank god for soapnet. oc reruns save my life during these tv shows (i’m looking at you CW) hiatuses…! gotta love sandy cohen. seth too. ryan and keirsten and summer too. wow i miss that show.

  • Clair

I miss The O.C, but am getting to the point where I can’t watch the reruns on SoapNet. I just yell at the screen “Why won’t you (Marissa) die already!” So not only do we need some Fuzzy Eyebrows Surfing Lawyer, but how about some Taylor Townsend? And am I the only one who stuck with Chuck (which is finally getting good) because I enjoyed seeing peeps for The O.C.?

i miss The O.C. too – if for nothing else than the seth cohen sarcasm, ryan atwood’s fists of fury, sandy cohen’s crazy brows, and of course, captain oats. josh schwartz…The O.C. will always be, to me anyway, the best show you ever created.

And I miss your “OC” recaps, Annie. Can you do another one, just for old times’ sake?

  • Michelle

*sigh* I miss the O.C. too. Sadly, I don’t get SoapNet so I can’t even watch the reruns. I do have these grand plans to buy it on DVD though. And yes, everything is better with some Sandy Cohen!

    Who is Sandy Cohen?
Anyway, this 38 year old soap opera and reality show hating, emotionally well balanced woman enjoys watching CSI: Miami.
What’s wrong with just enjoying a show and not have to nit-pick at every little detail? What’s wrong with watching the show and trying to figure out who-done-it every week?
What’s wrong with the shock value such as a couple of teenagers not knowing they were related falling in love? That’s the fathers fault, not theirs. So they murdered their own Dad because he was keeping a secret. They murdered him so they could stay together as a couple and raise the child they are having.
Well, Horatio and his team figured it out! now their going to jail.
Go Miami Dade Crime Lab!! Whoo Hoo!
What’s going to be complained about next by those who can’t find anything better to do with their time except watch intently for something wrong on a show to blog about? Is the shape of the blood pool under the dead guy the wrong shape? Watch carefully now!
