Fox’s Bones returns Thursday, March 12, with a run of 11 straight new episodes, the first of which puts David Boreanaz (Special Agent Seeley Booth) in the director’s chair. (The episode is called "The Bones That Foam" — already promising. Watch a clip below.) On March 11, Boreanaz will find himself in the hot seat when he sits down with PopWatch to answer your questions about the show. So, post ‘em below. They can be specific (finally, I we will get to the bottom of Booth’s beer helmet!), general (see: our continuing debate on the importance of character and case), or futile (how are we you going to get him talking about Ausiello’s latest spoiler?).
Submit your question(s) by noon ET Wednesday. Come back Thursday for his responses.

Do they have to throw the commercial in there??
My burning Bones question (and possibly the only thing making me uneasy about a Booth-Bones hookup): How is it even reasonably possible that the FBI would let Bones and Booth keep working as partners if they get together? He arrested her dad and it was a conflict of interest, sooo…
It’s the very last episode of the series(much sadness when that does have to happen) do Booth and Bones ride happily into the sunset together?!?
And will we find a permanent squint to replace Zack?!
Why has Bones been so accident prone lately? I don’t mind the agent replacing (Marissa Coughlin, I think) him but I miss the good old team.
What made you decide you wanted to direct an episode of Bones? After having directed an episode now, do you prefer that to acting?
On a side note – do you and the rest of the cast plan on attending the upcoming 40th Anniversary of Comic-Con in San Diego???
Are they ever going to bring Zack’s character back to the show permanently? I heard a rumor we’d be seeing him in the season finale, but I’m hoping for more. Thanks!
What do you enjoy most about directing as opposed to acting? What was the most difficult aspect of directing the episode? Did any of the cast give you a hard time? Will your wife ever be in an episode of “Bones?” Will you ever write a story about your dad? What will you be doing during the hiatus from “Bones?” When will “Our Lady of Victory” be released? Thanks for the heart & humor you bring to the show.
To paraphrase Colbert, please ask Mr. Boreanaz if he ever gets sick of being awesome and kicking so much a$$. But seriously, are they ever going to find a long-term replacement for Zack, or just have the parade of deficient interns? (Not that that’s not entertaining, but you know…)
Thank you for taking fan questions! Fans have been actively discussing Booth’s health crisis and wondering whether or not Booth and Brennan’s “naked in bed having sex” will end up being a trick played on fans to give us what we want. Do you have any comforting word or thoughts for us?
Any chance you’ll be heading to NY during this summer to do another production like ‘Spaulding Gray’? Any plans to do a hockey movie in the future? And as always, Thank you for making me laugh and smile every time I watch ‘Bones’.
What’s the deal with Teddy Parker in “Hero in the Hold”? Was he an actual ghost? A drug- or panic-induced hallucination? Or perhaps a symptom of a “major heath crisis”?
how did you feel when you learnt that Booth was an abused child by a drunk dad? Such a worthy subject to cover, thanks!
Not a question, just Love You David, keep up the goodwork.
Are you gonna come back to Europe to shoot some episodes ? Maybe France..Paris ?
