Ed McMahon: Happy 86th birthday, buddy!

Edmcmahon_l Ed McMahon has had a rough go of it lately, with financial troubles and health problems. At last word, he remains in an L.A.-area hospital fighting pneumonia and, possibly, bone cancer. So it’s with added oomph that we wish the former Tonight Show sidekick and Star Search host (and all-around good guy) a very happy 86th birthday today! Get well soon, Ed. We’re looking forward to celebrating No. 87 with you next year.
