I’m stunned…WOW…No Ju’Not and no Felicia, but Tatiana and Von?!?! I can even begin to guess how the judges came to those decisions..wow. That sucks.
It’s hard for me to believe that Jorge made it to the top 12. He’s sweet but not a great singer, too old fashioned. Mishavonna was not even in the room – they must have un-invited some of the lower vote getters – Stevie, Kai, etc. Tatiana makes me sick and I pray she does not get in the top 12. Simon said it was unanimous to put her in wild card. Felcia and Kristen deserved it way more. (At least it wasn’t Nick/Norman who is impossible to get rid of.) Disappointment and questioning the judges’ jugdement aside, I do think the top 12 is going to be interesting and fun this year. Have you noticed Simon has smiled more this season?
Out of all the people from the 3rd group…Shouty McShouterson? Really? I’m excited about Ricky Braddy and Anoop!
Mishavonna, Felicia and Kristen deserved to be there, but oh well, it’s the judges’ choice this time. Tatiana is there just as fodder, I bet they already have a pretty good idea of who they’re gonna pick as top 3 but they need to have them perform again just to “double check”.
Jorge – ug. No Ju’not – what? That’s not ok with me dawg. Don’t even get me started on Tatiana. That almost makes me lose respect…nice dream killers judges – all for ratings and negative talk. Whatever. I am almost bored now.
This wild card show really sucks!!! American Idol doesn’t care about real talents.
Bad move to bring Tatiana back. I’m sure they did it for ratings — the way people can’t stop from looking at an accident — the way people are fascinated with the Octomom — the way we’re all talking about the Bachelor — all of us intrigued by the drama of trauma will be “entertained” by Tatiana. But I tell you, that girl is mentally ill, and when she doesn’t make the top 12 and she slashes her wrists live on the internet (or some other sick, public cry for attention) American Idol is gonna have a lot of ‘splaining to do!
I was waiting for Slezak to post so I could express my anger. Shouty McShouterson, Tatiana, Jasmine, & Matt?!?! Over Felicia, Ju’Not, and Mishavonna?! I’m convinced the producers & judges have a death wish for the show.
I missed the show but am glad to see that Tatiana made it to the wild card. Like it or not, the girl can sing. She was the best the first night of the semifinals. She deserves a chance to show us what she can do. And Yeah for Ricky Braddy!
Seriously considering boycotting American Idol now!! How on God’s green earth could the judge’s diss Ju’not Joyner that way? His take on Delilah was FANTASTIC! He made a totally over-played “hit” into something not only something you could listen to and not want to bang your head against the dashboard in utter dismay, but made it something you might LIKE again. Shame shame shame on you Idol judges!
They didn’t give Felicia a spot because she already had her “comeback”. Jessie got her spot in a last minute decision paula said. Hmm. Ricky gets another shot, good for him! Anoop dogg better bring it!
Thank God Nick Mitchell and Nathaniel Marshall are gone! But Tatiana should not be a wildcard!
I am so sad that Mishavonna was not picked for a wildcard. I wanted to see her bring the crazy! You could tell she had a lot of heart and spunk.
I just about dropped my drink when they announced Jasmine. Whaaaaat? I’m also considering just giving up on Idol. Hard to believe they did not give second shots to Felicia, Ju’Not and Kristen, all of whom are much more talented than even some of the people already in the top 12 (Michael Sarver, can you hear me?)
I can NOT believe that Ju’Not didn’t get through…and yet we have that crazy Tatiana. AI has pulled some of this crap before (Sanjaya) where they pick some person who people will tune in to watch the train wreck, but it totally screws people on the show who have TRUE talent. I totally stopped watching fairly early in the season when Taylor Hicks was kept over some with much more talent. It ceases to be a talent show, and instead becomes some perverted popularity show, made worse by people who think it is funny to call in with a gazillion votes for the hacks to ruin the outcome.
