For once Mike, I am in 100% agreement I could have written this article. I wasn’t that impressed with Ju Not yesterday, but he sounded tons better when they played that snippet again today.
Slezak I love your columns, but honestly you are starting to drive me crazy. Tatyana may be dramatic, but the girl can sing…significantly better than Ju’not’s rendition last night that you inexplicable praised. And while I too really was looking forward to them putting Kristen Macnamara through, how can you say Matt Guirard isn’t talented? He had one bad performance in singing Coldplay, but the judges are basing their decisions on everything they’ve seen so far. Have you forgotten his ‘Georgia’ rendition that was widely praised by judges and fans alike? I’m not sure where all your animosity is coming from (and I do always appreciate your honesty), but your outrage on the wildcard choices is boggling to me.

I’m totally disgusted and outraged that they wasted a spot on that sickening piece of trash and corn Tatiana, and screwed over real telents like Felicia, Ju’not, and Kristen! I’m only mildly consoled by the saving of Ricky and Anoop, but if Tatiana goes any further, VFTW will keep her in for weeks and I won’t be able to take it!! Arrghhhhh!
Von is son boring. He has no personality and an ok voice. Him over junot, please. No black guy this season, wow. Well, go anoop!
Thank you for posting this so quickly. I was looking for an outlet to spew my rage! Ju’Not and Felecia were particularly robbed. It’s like the judges didn’t even consider the live performances, or there’s no way Jasmine or Matt would have made it through. Ridiculous.
How Tatiana is on the Wild Card show is beyond me. Well, I guess it’s not- they want drama over talent. Heck, I’d rather see Norman Gentle back than her.
But to ignore Felicia, Mishiavona, and Ju’Not? Horrible. If Von and his yelling makes is through, I’m done.
But I like tatiana! Honest I really do.
I agree to a certain extent. I think Felicia and Ju’not shoulda gotten a chance for the wildcard.
But on a positive note, Anoop made the wildcard and they soooo purposely left him last. That was just some crazy crazy suspenseful drama! I wasn’t really too surprised for who they picked for wildcards tho…i expected it.
