The Beatles: Rock Band is happening! On 9/9/09 (catchy, you guys), MTV Games and Harmonix will release the Fab Four–themed version of the game, plus "a limited number of new hardware offerings modeled after instruments" they played. TBRB will be available for Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3.
I need to go spit and curse about the fact that I have Guitar Hero, not Rock Band. Bee are bee.

Whew, I feel (marginally) better. This is exciting! Mostly because it gives me hope that the songs I dream of playing on Guitar Hero: World Tour with my droogs will maybe someday come out. My first pick is Queen, followed by Elton John’s and Dolly Parton’s greatest hits. Losertime confession: I would love a Cat Stevens track pack — who’s with me, Harold and Maude fans?! — but I would settle for a Greatest Karaoke Jams kinda deal, too.Aight, sodaPopWatchers: What tunes are you dying to play on Rock Band or Guitar Hero?
I’m excited about The Beatles and Pearl Jam’s Ten coming out on Rock Band, but I wish there the new Oasis and Hendrix were there too.
I have guitar hero and will proably get RB just for the variety.
But also I believe Metallica will be releasing their own game for GH

I’m hoping Rock Band will add a horn section feature so we can play some ska songs.
My only beef with guitar hero is that you can’t “import” tracks from one game to another. The coolest feature about Rock Band 2 is that my songs from RB1 and RB AC/DC can be played on one game!
That said, I’d love to play Possum Kingdom and Cult of Personality on RB. They’re awesome on GH, but I want to sing and play drums on those tracks too!

I don’t think you’re gonne be able to play your GHWT instuments on the Beatle Rock Band if you have a Wii. I bought the whole GHWT set on the Nintendo Wii for when this game came out and now its comming out all right but on Rock Band! That sucks.

I have GH: Metallica and it’s KICK A$$! The hubby & I play it all the time and yes, my hand does cramp up after a while. I am a HUGE Beatles fan & would love to add this to my collection for the Wii. I would also like a Queen RB or GH game. Any thoughts on an all Eric Clapton version?
