Not everyone that likes Britney is a moron. Can you sing? Are you her age, have two kids and still not fat? Jealous are we? I don’t agree with things she has done but that doesn’t mean you stop liking the music. Do people that criticize her so much live their life in the public eye? Probably not. Just because someone likes Britney doesn’t mean that they don’t like other music too. I like Britney but I also like the Beatles, Elvis, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Aerosmith, etc.
I’ve been her fan for a long time and I really believed that she didn’t sing live because she dances too much. But when I watched her most recent show I stopped believing that. She didn’t dance or sing. Her dancing is ridiculous. She walks the whole show from one side to another, and that’s it. She looks fat. She didn’t sing live “Everytime”, when she doesn’t dance at all. She’s dressed like a whore and does not talk to her fans during the show. Her new tour sucks. She’s not back.
I saw Britney in Tampa on Sunday (3/8). I related her performance to her MTV flop a couple of years back, meaning she didn’t seem to put her all into the show. She moved around the stage a lot, “dancing” at times. She practically did not actually sing ANYTHING for the entire show. Also, I was disappointed with her lack of acknowledging the audience. About halfway through the show, she said “Hi Tampa” or something of that sort. I really wanted to see Britney ‘Wow” the audience, but left with the feeling she pretty much appeared to make some dough and leave with little regard to giving the crowd a great show and experience. The entertainment was very good; however, her part of the entertainment wasn’t. To sum it up, I thought Britney was lazy and distant from the audience.
We all have a story and her story is not the best right now, but I would go watch her any day. Maybe not for the performer she is today after everything that she has went through, but for the performer that she used to be.
