So, let’s talk about the Jonas Brothers (again) for a second. Now, whatever your feelings are on the band (and chances are highly likely you lean one way or the other), you do have to sort of sit back and be amazed at how they are able to promote themselves. For example, in honor of their Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience movie, the trio has been surprising fans at random movie theaters across the nation. One of those stops just happened to be at the 10:30 a.m. at the Palisades Mall in Nyack, New York.
Now, I’m not sure how much of a surprise it really was considering the press (complete with multiple camera crews and myriad photographers) were allowed into the theater 20 minutes before the movie. Just seeing the cameras was enough to start mass hysteria not seen since, well, the last time the Jonas Brothers made a public appearance. Screaming? Check. Crying? Check. Jumping on chairs? Check. Dad making sure his daughters were interviewed by every TV station possible? Check. Wild, unsubstantiated rumors? Check. (Direct quote from a girl no more than seven: "They said Hannah Montana might appear!" Um, no sweetheart.) I also particularly enjoyed one girl who seemed oblivious to the madness, and instead sat quietly in her chair, chomping on candy with her 3-D glasses on all ready to go. She even had one of her front teeth missing, bless her.
You can only imagine the response when the Jonas Brothers actually showed up. The boys only talked for all of a minute or so, just to thank the fans for coming and how they hoped they would enjoy it. Everyone in the sold-out crowd was surprisingly civil — I expected some hair pulling or clawing in mad dashes down the aisles to get as close to them as possible. But, alas, it was just a quick hello and goodbye, but more than enough to make each person’s day/week/month/year/life, depending.
Kevin, Joe, and Nick are now off to another unknown city to give more fans the surprise of their life. And really, how cool is that? Think back to when you were 10. What band are you not afraid to admit would have made you shed some tears if they just happened to appear out of nowhere? And, better yet, has anyone seen the Jonas Brothers movie yet? I seen the movie 7 times so far just because im excpecting the Jonas Brothers

I am so glad they did this amazing movie i was into the movie the whole time of course i admire those boys but i was just amazed.

The movie was great. The whole 3D thing is really cool and i reccomend they make all movies using it. It was almost as good as a concert, ALMOST.

I was at the movies today for a bday party when the brothers arrived! I wish for the huge build up to them being there that they would have said something more or signed autographs.
I saw the movie this morning ..I’m from Peru so obviously wasn’t expecting for them..However, I think the movi was AWESOME! I screamed, danced and sang along. It was the ebst experience of my life

The film was amazing, and no, I’m not a teenage girl, but the 3D special effects were exceptional. Even if you are not a fan, it is a must see just for the advance 3D techniques. Two thumbs up!
I really enjoyed it, I think they’re great (I am a young mom-fan) – I think it shows what great showmen they are. The background bits are sometimes stagey and not so revealing, unfortunately…the “Living the Dream” series on Disney Channel offers more insight into them, really.

I saw it opening night and I thoguht it was amazing!! I can’t believe people on other websites are saying it wasn’t very good because i really wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was! It was so fun and every single show at the theatre i went too was sold out! I think all 3 boys are soo talented, but Nick really shined! I mean he sings, plays guitar, plays piano, and plays the drums. I <3 the Jonas Brothers!!
