I was just reading a Hollywood Reporter item on ABC’s latest reality pilot Crash Course (like CBS’ Thunder Road, exec produced by McG, it involves contestants driving obstacle courses — because we obviously need two of those shows), and I saw a sentence that made me happier than it has any right to: "Orlando Jones (MADtv) and Dan Cortese (Veronica’s Closet) are attached as hosts."
I had no idea that I was still a Dan Cortese fan. Are there others out there like me? You’re among judgmental strangers friends. Admit it.
Kick ass on that pilot you’re taping this weekend, Dan. (And tell Orlando I loved his guest spots on Men in Trees and Ghost Whisperer.)

I thought he was funny as Elaine’s mimbo Tony on Seinfeld. I hated him as Jake’s evil brother on Melrose Place.
I hang my head and sigh before admitting that once upon a time, I was a Dan Cortese fan, circa 1992 when he was on MTV Sports. This new reality show sounds retarded.
I fell in love with him after watching reruns of What I Like About You. He was amazing!
Never heard of Dan Cortese but Orlando Jones use to be a big cut-up on MADtv. It could be a really funny reality show with these two hosts. The concept certainly seems viable. Last summer Wipeout became a breakout hit despite critics.
Dan Cortese is good looking, but a really lousy actor. Orlando Jones, though–now, he’s good. I loved him on Men in Trees and in Drumline.
