'The Bachelor: The Women Tell All': Trysts, Trista, and not enough Tooth Nazi

Categories: Television, The Bachelor

Here are a few things I don’t need taking up space in my head: The fact that Natalie doesn’t like being splashed with water. The image of Jason going to ”first base” — which I’m pretty sure is his code for ”full-on intercourse” — in a tent with anyone. And finally, lines of poetry written by Trista’s sensitive firefighter husband Ryan. But guess what, Bachelor fans, that’s exactly what’s filling up my noggin after tonight’s Women Tell All placeholder special. The reunion is a necessary evil — ABC’s gotta drag the season out as long as possible — but I have to say I was hoping for a little more from tonight’s show. For more on that, click over to my TV Watch. But in the meantime, let me know what you thought of tonight’s WTA extravaganza — were you, like me, sorely disappointed not to hear more from the season’s craziest ”ladies,” including my beloved Tooth Nazi? If so, here’s something to boost your spirits — The Doll Bachelor: The Women Tell All, featuring a very special guest voice by Bachelor host Chris Harrison. Enjoy!

That natalie needs a severe reality check! She comes off so pretentious, conceded and full of herself! Oh, and Melissa has this thing in the bad.

  • Beth

Definitely a filler of an episode. Too many clips and recaps! Also, I really hope they do NOT pick Jillian as the next bachelorette.

  • bonnlyass

Yeah, Natalie is even more awful than I previously realized. And did she really tell Chris he “needs to calm down” when he (very calmly) pointed out what a shallow, superficial person she is? Wow.

  • Sagrious

I agree, not enough Tooth Nazi! I’m looking forward to seeing Jillian as the next bachlorette, she seems like a great fit. Oh, and the Doll Bachelor, The Women Tell All was the best yet!! Whoever came up with that is a comic genius.

  • Austin

I agree with Sagrious. Whoever came up with The Doll Bachelor is a devious comic mastermind, and adding Chris Harrison’s voiceover was a great touch.
Seriously, wouldn’t the real TV show be more fun if the Bachelor was more like Cliff? Oh, wait, then the show would be on VH1.

Natalie is like a typical high school hot girl who never grew up and evolved beyond what carried her with the local boys….i see her divorced twice, lots of botox and on the 10th season of the real housewives of Chicago still biyotching about how no one understands her being “real” and what losers everyone are while discovering tragically her skin cancer on episode three from years of tanning so she could still look the hottest blond in the midwest with her fake bake tan! read any good books lately nat?

  • Ken

I believe Natalie got picked precisely for the kind of person she is, otherwise there won’t be enough drama on the show.

Very boring show – I find myself wondering if they did some re-editing with all the controversy. Amazing how much they showed Molly (and how little Melissa) in the early clips. I expected more gals talking to Jason. Wasn’t there a preview with one of the other gals giving him a bad time? Some of the gals were not happy at all the attention Jillian got from the audience. This was filmed in January, 2 months after the final rose ceremony.

  • Doll Bachelor

So is the scene in the Doll Bachelor, with one of the gals pregnant, a clue?????

  • Anonymous

wow could that be the reason for the after after show?

  • sjcaligurl

I cannot stand watching Jason so haven’t been watching the season – only keeping up via the various blogs. I thought that tonight’s episode was beyond boring. The only really interesting part was the update about Fred and Noelle. They seem like a happy couple.

    4 things:
    1) Jill will not be the next Bachelorette. Did you not notice her heavily (and badly) edited response? Also, NO she will not be coming back and Jason will not be bestowing favor on her.
    2) Wild applause for fan faves Steph and Jill. Really? How did the closed to the public set – filled with paid extras – know who the faves were? Was Mike Fleiss holding up an “Applause” sign?
    3) Jason is now only “very happy” or “extremely” happy? Not “in love” and “engaged as he stated in People Mag December 3rd or on the Bonnie Hunt and Ellen shows in early January? Hmm.
    4) A sound bite from Shayne Lamas? Really? The “winner” from the most heavily scripted season (until now) of the Bachelor. The “winner” that was out for her own career? Who’s heavily snipped and botoxed dad is good friend with M. Fleiss? The surgically enhanced Lamas family (starring Shayne) who are now getting their own Kardashian-like reality show produced by same Fleiss? Oh, OK.

  • Claudia

Ummmm, no one is pregnant. That is CH and the producers having fun at the expense of some of the more off-base speculation about the twist and shout finale and the clean-up, I mean cover-up, I mean spin to save the franchise that ABC is feeding the non-spoiler site reading public in the 2 ATFR specials.

  • Maggie

Fred and Noelle!!! Love them – good for them. Gee, funny isn’t it that the people away from Mike Fleiss are the ones to actually have a true “love story”? Unlike the heavily manipulated, edited and scripted crap he puts together in the name of “drama and conflict” (aka – ratings) that HE claims “most” people (ABC and the advertisers) want to see.

  • leah

Oh … What about Holly and Jesse? Or Holly and Robert? Or Holly and Graham (okay, she never stood a chance with him)?

  • Katie

I can’t stand this show anymore. They show an actual love story between Melissa and Jason & because all of the sleuthers found out it was Melissa, Fleiss had to screw everything up. Jason is also a scum bag for going through with Mike Fleiss dumb ideas.

Jason is just wayyy too creepy to watch–five seconds and I’m done.
Besides, George Clooney was on Larry King talking about Darfur and then a discussion of whether Obama’s honeymoon is over and part of the City. Then switched to my fave-New Adventures of Old Christing. Only show I try not to miss.

  • Andrea

What I don’t understand is, why is so much time and effort given to messing with the heads of viewers? What did we do to deserve this treatment, and who asked for it? It’s nothing more than insulting to the sensibilities of people who ARE the ratings, and make or break them. And the Fleiss concocted dramas are irritating beyond belief. The people chosen for the show can be total nut jobs all by themselves, as proven over and over again..ie:Natalie,Deanna,and a host of others. Fleiss makes it appear that viewers can’t see through lame people who hang themselves with their own idiocy. You need to figure out what kind of show you want to air, and then do it. Is this show about finding love, or is it about embarrassing and hurting people? Is it fun to set people up and humiliate them? What is this show for? Money, careers, fame? Chris coming in and announcing this is the Final Rose,or going to a break,we don’t already know this and are waiting?CH is mad? Well tough. Fleiss has it all wrong.

Jason has been wearing his emotions on his shoulder for the whole season and once again when he was asked if he was happy now with his choice. He responded with a “Yes..” but you could see that “I sell something bad” look (as Kristen described so accurately). I think we all just wasted our time….I look to see him on the long list of Bachelor break-ups.

  • Debra

Sorry about my typo. My previous post should say “I smell something bad” look, not “I sell something bad”. Unfortunately, once posted, cannot be corrected.

  • Allison

Jason is a JACKASS! I cant believe what he did to Melissa and then how he went back to Molly so easily. There are no words to describe how upset I am about this.
