I’m surprised that nobody mentionned Libby. I think she’s the only one that could have convinced Hurley to go back. I didn’t even think for a second that Charlie appeared to Hurley. Besides, she appeared to Michael in season 4, and we still don’t know her backstory, even though the producers have been saying they would reveal it since season 2. I think she may have some history on the island, and maybe had a mental breakdown when she came back to the real world, which would explain her appearance in the mental hospital in a Hurley flashback in season 2… Thoughts?

Lamp Post? That’s another clear reference to CS Lewis…”The lamp post is a major landmark in Narnia” http://narnia.wikia.com/wiki/Lamp-post

Last night, I thought Aaron definietly had to be with either Claire’s Mom, or Sawyer’s Baby’s Mama. I now am pretty firm in the opinion that it has to be Sawyer’s Baby’s Mama because that would be someone who was not known to anyone really other than Kate and Sawyer. Also, hearkening back to Jack’s interrogation of Kate’s rendezvous, it would explain why she said promise to never ask me that again, essentially saying, “Jack I see you’re off the drugs and coherent, but if I’m going back to the island I need you to get over your jealously too, so just drop it.”

Ooh, and if Jin has been a part of the Dharma Initiative for three years we may be surprised to see him speak english fluently the next time we see him!!

  • Pennywise

and now my thoughts on “Lost”, Isn’t it strange how Ben brings up religion in last nights episode? Don’t you all think that Ben is actually the supreme beings fearless angel, like Gabriel sent down to do all the dirty work that needs to get done so the Losties get redemption?

I think it’s pretty clear, regardless of how successful he was, Ben at least made an attempt to fulfill his promise of vengefully killing Penny. I wonder if Ms. Hawking’s warning to Desmond about the island not being through with him has anything to do with that. I found it funny that she pretty much said that Ben does nothing but lie. And it only makes since, if the whole episode is a nod to Narnia, that Ben would quote the Bible, and mention that John Locke died in the place of “somebody else”.

I also got the John 3:16 correlation, both from the number, and from the fact that there are many Narnia references. Since much of Narnia was based on that verse, it makes sense. John is the one who had to die.

Maybe Claire’s warning to “Don’t bring him back” was about Ben.

I think that Ben’s mission to the marina is a red herring to make us think that he was after Penny. He was after someone or something else. It would take several weeks to sail from London (where they were) to Los Angeles. If Desmond felt that his friends are in danger I doubt he would have wanted to take that long to help them. Also Penny said that she was going with him so that implied to me at least that they weren’t taking the boat, because she would be along for the ride anyway.

316 is an interesting tie in to John 3:16. John Locke is the sacrifice. Those who believe shall not die but live eternally (Richard Alpert maybe?) And if I understand the preview, Locke rises from the dead. Lost just rocks on so many levels.

  • Un Francais a Hollywood

The guy who plays Caesar (the other guy on the plane) is Said Taghmaoui, a great french actor (seen in 3 kings). Which means he’ll be back: believe me, an actor of this caliber isn’t hired just to make a cameo – which means he survived the crash…

think Jin and Sun’s baby was also in the flight, but they cleverly didn’t show it. Remember, they had to recreate the original flight. Sun didn’t travel alone. I think the time Jack didn’t see her, she was making preperations to bring her daughter to America. Oh and I hate Ben. People need to stop trusting him. Christian and Hawking pretty much confirmed he is no good.

Jensen- your theories are getting stupider by the week. Jack’s grandfather is himself in the future. Do you even try to THINK before you come up with this crap? And Kate looking like she wanted to slit her wrists was a parallel to Molly Bloom’s joyous reunion with her husband? Can you take off the fanboy goggles for one minute and try to stop blowing smoke up Darlton’s butts. The Ulysses references don’t make you look smart especially when you misuse them so ridiculously. I wish this geeky fanboy wasn’t the major Lost reviewer. I’m so tired of reading him try to pontificate while kissing butt for his heros, Cuse & Lindelof. There’s no critical discrimination any more. It’s getting embarraassing to read his tripe.

Frank Mc, why are you still reading then?

  • Em

Seriously Frank Mc why are you reading these articles???? True Lost Fans love Doc Jensen’s analysis because it fills in the void in between shows. If you don’t like his theories then you don’t have to be so cruel about it. Does it make you feel smarter than him? Well it doesn’t at all. I’m embarrassed for you for just writing that comment.
