sofia, I completely agree. I read that she didn’t get nominated for Revolutionary Road (and the film didn’t get nominated for Best Picture) because it was too much of a dark story. Um, hello???? the flippin’ HOLOCAUST is such a feelgood topic, right? But for some reason the Academy just eats up anything having to do with the holocaust. Just goes to show how absolutely ridiculous the industry is. Anyway, if you enjoyed Revolutionary Road, I highly recommend you read the novel by Richard Yates. It’s one of the best novels I’ve ever read.

Im also like most of you shocked seeing this ridiclous morron putting the talented Charlize Theron and Marion Cotillard with some of the actresses mentionned, what the hell is that a joke ? these 2 are one of the greatest actresses of this generation by far, they already told me that this limited so called journalist is a joke but now it’s official he’s lost all credibility, he is blinded by envy, he has any objectivity, and works only with the “popularity of the moment”.

Marion Cotillard is an excellent actress who won an Oscar for an outstanding performance. She shouldn’t be the target of you snarky accusations. So don’t go lumping her in with those other actress, that’s just lazy. I hate lazy journalism.
