He’s great, I’ll give him that…. but he’s too old.

    Noah Wyle.

Lori, it’s weird but I also though of Noah Wyle, but then dismissed him for some reason. But he would be good.

I hope they find someone who’s the actual age that Booth was when this all went down. Also, around the same height and build. I’d suggest James McAvoy, but he’s already making a film with Redford that’s about the trial of the woman who aided and abetted Booth, so it would be over kill to see him in another film surrounding the Lincoln murder. I think Johnny Depp is too old, I also think that Robert Downy Jr. is too old, they need to stay true to the man, and find someone with the acting chops, the right look and is the right age.

    This is great news.
Yes Johnny Depp and Steven Spielberg should work together. SO i say DEPP!

You are ALL off the mark here. The actor perfect for John Wilkes Booth is Jude Law!

Team Of Rivals deals with Lincoln’s presidency not his assassination. Booth is a relatively minor character in Team. It is more appropriate to conjecture on who’s play Sec of State Seward or Sec of War Stanton.

I’m thinking John Corbett(but he’s a bit on the tall side) or Rob Morrow (he’s played Booth already in a movie and did a fantastic job). But Depp would be good as well.

I like Casey Affleck as JWB.
