Jeff Probst is a busy man. The premiere of Survivor: Tocantins is a mere day away, which means he has to start blogging again for EW.com. But does that give him the right to berate yours truly just because I can’t figure out how to pronounce the name of his new season? The incident in question went down as Josh Wolk and I were discussing the return of EW.com’s Survivor Talk Internet show (which will be back with a special mystery guest as well as the first cast-off on Friday afternoon), and was all caught on camera. See for yourself below. Moral of the story: Don’t interrupt the man’s breakfast!

Glad to see the blog and Dalton Ross is back. The radio silence about Survivor : no column presenting the new kids on the block was disquieting !
So now i can start imagining myself giggling like the school girl I am when I’ll see how short Probst is compared to Dalton and his colleague ! Yes, It’s mean but honestly, he doesn’t look short at all on survivor and then survivor talk happened and I couldn’t stop giggling. He’s still very attractive, but short

Yay! Carine said it – the radio silence has been disquieting. I love Survivor, and I love Dalton Ross’ take on it. Having Probst in the mix on EW just sweetens the deal. So is EW going to roll out a big Survivor article online or what?

Oh hell ya! Can’t even begin to describe how excited I am that Survivor talk is back!
why haven’t we gotten all the usual reviews and stuff we usually get? Why no list of contestants and all the pre-show interviews and your thoughts and predictions?? Yes I have no life and live vicariously thru you Dalton!!
Did Dalton get the ability to stay onsite at Survivor with Jeff Probst again? (I would guess that the answer must be no since the video shows him talking on the phone) Did Dalton decide that he didn’t like being onsite for a month? I always thought that Dalton looked more like a person that enjoyed the couch more than adventure. Or did Dalton make Jeff Probst so mad that he wasn’t allowed on set? Based on this conversation, I would say that the producers might be mad at him.
My question is whether Dalton is more of a journalist, entertainer, or advertiser. Does Dalton Ross want to work for the New York Times, E! (Talk Soup?), or Omnicom in the future? This clip just seems incredibly staged. What is a reporter calling Jeff Probst at home? I would think that Dalton would have to go through publicists and personal assistants before talking to Jeff. I really don’t believe that a host of a show would be accusing a major reporter at EW magazine of being a fake. On the other side, this clip was incredibly funny, and a great viral advertisement for Survivor. Hopefully, this indicates the new season of survivor will include lots of great humor.
