The British Version will turn out to be better than the American version, and in order to air it on ABC I think quite a lot of editing would be needed. It should be on a cable channel, and not be re-done with American actors/actresses. Leave it as is, it’s brilliant!

I think it’s fantastic, but it would need to be on cable. It’s like watching Dexter on CBS..it’s just not the same thing, no matter how much editing they do!

No Heroics is fantastic. And there’s no way it can succeed in the US. ABC do us all a favor and don’t try. It would be even worse than that talked about Kirstie Ally version of the Vicar of Dibley (shudder).

Timebomb is going to be castrated in SO many ways for American TV.
The She-Force standup with the strategic hole? GONE!
The Hotness “annointing” the tattoo of Excelsor on the groupies thigh? Not bloody likely.
This will be SO pathetic in comparison to the British version.

Why mess with something that’s already great. It’s been done well (The Office) and done awfully (Kath and Kim, Coupling and more i can’t remember) What’s wrong with just airing the original? Why do the US need to make everything their own?

Please stay away from “No Heroics”! Please don’t spoil a show I love with an unworthy american remake. Please!!!! And pple wonder why I am obsessed with Brit tv. Hello, american tv keeps trying to copy the Brits. There must be something right they are doing.

i get itv and saw “no heroics” — if abc gave it to barry sonnenfeld or were able to lure tina fey away from nbc then most def! if not — staw away, they didn’t air clerks full 6 episodes back in the way back…
