George. Izzie. Hi. Your characters have been run into the ground only to then be spritzed heavily with the spillout from some patient’s body cavity. Izzie, the only people who will talk to you are already dead. George, last week, I momentarily mistook you for an extra they hired to play Man Who Speaks Into Intercom. This is not a noble way to die. You need to just BOOK IT. There are baking supplies the next town over. You want to go to there. I promise.

I love how T.R. Knight wants off the show now…he should’ve let a long time ago and Isaiah Washington should’ve stayed instead.
Amen Annie. Must nice in a time when many are struggling in this economy to see folks who have it made complain about being paid outrageous sums to work half the year. Boo frickin’hoo, maybe these guys can go help octuplet mom babysit her kids.
And a hearty good riddance, Katie Heigl. Don’t let the door hit ya in your self-absorbant A on the way out!
I’m on the fence about this. I guess I just miss the old George and Izzie, from the first few seasons. Yes, Izzie has been annoying lately with the damn dead Denny thing and George has had like 5 seconds of screen time. It sucks that it has to end with both of the characters being written like this. Oh well. I’ll still watch.

it is about time. they have both been a drain on the show. TR had that great thing w/ Callie & complained. He had the whole father dying and compalined. that was good stuff. those were the story lines that get you awards. he could not pull it off. I think Bailey should complain. she could do w/ better storylines. or Mer as she is annoying. KH just needs to hush. She is always in some mess. How many people are going to keep hiring her if she comes out against all of her projects. why accept them is you don’t like them?
T.R.Knight is a whiner with a victim mentality.He managed to get Isaiah Washington fired and probably blacklisted because of a little fault pas and cried his eyes out on the Ellen DeGeneres show.Now he’s not getting as many lines as he’d like and it is evident even on the show because every time he is on he looks as if he’s sulking and miserable.Perhaps he thinks he is a better actor than he really is. Heigl take heed of the the caveat,Shelley Long (WHO?).
I couldn’t agree more. The actors themselves are good (although Heigl’s talent is questionable at times), but the characters have been ruined. I blame Gizzie-gate. The was a disaster from the minute one and Shonda Rhimes dragged teh story out far past its time (much like the whole Denny fiasco). Heigl will go make boring romantic comedies and Knight will find something better.
I couldn’t agree more. I am so sice of the backstage drama at this show, my gawd just make the entire show just disappear.
Can Shonda Rhimes join them, she is a disaster of epic proportions helming this show.
They are very ungrateful to the show and their whining is disruptive. I hope the writers waste no air time from others for their departure. Good riddance.
I’m glad they are leaving – the whole show has been going downhill for awhile now… perhaps their departures will help it get back to being only moderately crappy instead of full blown bad TV. I watch the show out of habit (and for Dr. Hunt and Dr. Sloan…) and George and ESPECIALLY Izzie have been getting on my nerves. Even more so than Meredith Grey. Seriously.
Shoot, if Izzie and George leave, I might actually start watching the show again.
I was prepared to write something about how I was thoroughly annoyed by both until I saw the little “Bohemian Rhapsody” reference in the poll. Nothing like a little Queen to soothe the soul.
