He’s Just Not That Into You

“A bit of apreachy mess that never managed to make a cohesive point. Enjoyablemoments, though. Ben & Jen’s story was the best.” genvessel

I was Just Not That Into it, I hope I didn’t lead the movie on.” allthewine

Coraline

Coraline’s 3D artistry + animation are awe-inspiring and spectacular.  Overall, tho, I’m sorta meh.  It lacked a certain edge.katherinen

Coraline was brilliant, whimsical, and haunting. Perfect use of 3D animation, which was absolutely magical. Breathtaking.” televisionary

“He’s Just Not That Into You” was cute but a little bloated. There were so many story-lines you didn’t get to know everyone in the same way. Wish I heard learned more about Drew’s character.

‘Coraline’ is the perfect merge of Neil Gaiman’s voice and Selick’s visuals. It was beautiful, it was delightful, it had the darkness that is nessessary for a good fairy tale.

I was a little disappointed that only certain scenes were in 3D in Coraline. I thought every scene would have been.

Every scene in Coraline was in 3D, just not ‘popping out in your face’ style 3D.

How was Coraline for little girls? I have a 6 year old who loves “Nightmare Before Christmas.” Is Coraline OK for her? I noticed it’s PG-13.

I liked the book Coraline so much I picked up The Graveyard Book too. TGB is stunning. Like Coraline, it manages to be dark and scary (the “good” guys in this book are ghosts, so you know the bad guys are going to be vile) but then surprisingly sweet. I can’t wait to see this film! Hope the Graveyard Book is made into a movie as well. I’m glad kids (and adults) are reading books like these. They’re both imaginative, well written, funny, dark, and full of plucky heros and heroines.

I wanted my money back after that stupid He’s Not That Into You. The movie goes completely AGAINST the principles of the book. They sold out big time.

I’m totally loving he’s just not that into you. yes, others would not like it but i do. i understand the movie very well and as far as i am concerned, i nver saw any movie who speaks reality! and now here it is. love jen and ben’s segment. it’s just so cute and sweet. but the moral of the lesson: don’t drop conclusions, illusion is far different from conclusion .:)
