I agree, Danny Gokey is the best so far. No doubt!
Sorry if this offends anyone but I never did understand what anyone saw in Fantasia — her voice does nothing for me. Don’t get what you see in her Michael but then again, I never “get” you anyway.
Danny Gokey is awesome! I think he’ll win because the rest stink. The only other guy I kind of like is that blind guy.

As I’ve posted (ad nauseum already I get it), I’m all about Adam Lambert. I think he’s too much of a pro to get too flustered during Hollywood Week, so I expect to see him in Top 36. And then hopefully Top 10.
I think you’re right. I never thought that she was as good as Fantasia and now she’ll never get Hollywood week. It’s reall a shame. After all the time spent with Simon agreeing I think you’re right.
I just want to reiterate after reading and watching again, that I still have not seen this year’s American Idol. If he or she is out there, we have not been given the opportunity to see them.
This really came into focus watching the shows from last year that I have on DVD and comparing what we have seen with last year’s top 12. No comparison. But I must say, SO FAR.
Brooke and Carly were so good and then there were the David’s and Michael.
Who knows, maybe the next couple shows will reveal a talent that has been covered up thus far.
word around the midwest: Johnny Lang’s sister tried out in Kansas unfortunately her audition wasn’t shown but rumour has it she made it to Hollywood.
I really liked Carla Valducci’s audtion. She is very pretty and has the pipes to take her all the way.
