He-man was the MOST popular cartoon in the 1980′s and its toy line was very high in demand and it still is today. The prices of those figures if they are in complete condition are still sky rocketing today. Just check eBay. For those of you out there who are not He-man fans, keep having fun with your My Little Pony and Cabbage Patch Kids…LOL!!!

Just a note to all of you. Did anyone ever pay attention at the ends of the series shows??? This cartoon had morals, I watched it growing up, and bought the dvd sets to use it as an educational tool for my children. It worked very well. I have two military kids who really care about others. This series had the best teaching tools. Better than idolizing a sponge,barbie dolls, or dumb cabbage patch prats. At least these lessons stick with them, and correctly and positivly influeced my kids. Too bad really, a lot of cartoons today look like some half drunk idiot drew them. He-Man, and even the villians thereof were drawn with realism and care. He-Man will always influence this family, because it has good artwork and excellent morals. How many other cartoon had a Phd on staff to show filmation cared about kids. Go He-Man, kick evil but, and those who have evil minds and don’t appreciate good morals. He-Man ROCKS!!!!!

The masters of the universe is one of the greatest cartoon/toy lines of all time. Problem is they keep trying to change what made this so special to so many people. The first series went under when the snake men came on the seen and guess when the 2001 series went under when the snake men made there apperance. Leave them out for good. I’ve heard rumors the story will change just like the 87 movie did. If they stick to the original story line it will be a Hit if they turn Adam into a modern day soldier or something stupid like that and change everyone elses role they might as well not make it because true fans will be pissed. The first cartoon in the 2001 series would be a good place to start it explains everything just right. If They can get a good special effects company onboard it could be awesome. STICK TO WHAT MADE MOTU WHAT IT IS.

Lol of course now that I look back and watch the old cartoon from the ’80s it looks stupid but c’mon that was then.. and for the time I’m sure a lot of kids including me adored that show… it is perfect fitting for kids and is actually intended for their amusement so noone really cares about your condescending reviews ok.. maybe you had a trouble childhood or had 2 moms who didnt allow you to watch any show that other little boys watched so relax.. im sure if they really want to they can make a great movie out of it.. you do need a good person for the lead though cuz someone like Dolph Lungren in a lead role usually means disaster

C’mon, you can’t be that much of a he-man hater. The special effects alone should make it a watchable movie. If hollywood doesnt cast or write it crappy, it has potential.
