I care about lara whoever the IDIOT is who wrote this article (shes the most famous and successful female game character) so stick that in ones piehole.
Lara is sexier and people care about her more than YOU whoever wrote this
The recent TOMB RAIDER games have been financial and critical successes… which means MANY, MANY people care about Lara Croft still, and would love to see the film franchise rebooted. I suppose if the film were all about which hot primetime hunk Lara was dating or what she wore to the SAG Awards, EW and its staff of “journalists” would probably care immensely. Thankfully, EW simply reports on new movies, rather than deciding which ones should be produced.
As for who should be the new Lara, I say “Surprise me!” There are a lot of great choices out there.
Rhona Mitra is the best choise, if Angelina won’t come back. Think about the arrogant british way Jolie performed her. That’s the allure I want to see again, and who’s better than a british woman to come up to that.
eww not rhona mitra(she is manly) or that other girl from lost or whatever. my vote goes to summer glau and a trained victoria beckham
Megan fox would have made a great Lara Croft http://www.meganfox.com/megan-fox-not-lara-croft/
