Excellent interview, Slezak. You have a penchant for asking really good questions that fans and curious web-surfers alike like to know about artists. Kudos to Melinda for remaining genuinely humble and authentic. This interview proves that her humility and grace are not put-ons.
The most interesting part of the interview for me is Melinda’s ‘secret’ in clever and precise word-pointing when it comes to phrasing a lyric. But then she learned from the best like her favorite – the Divine Sarah Vaughan.
