It’s Friday Night Lights season again, folks (surely, you tuned in for last week’s premiere), and have we got a treat for you: Today, right here, embedded below, we have FNL‘s Connie Britton answering questions pulled straight from your keyboard to EW interviewer Dalton Ross’ mouth. The always-charming Britton addresses the show’s improvisational feel, its mind-boggling lack of Emmy love, plus oodles more. And did we mention hard-hitting journalist Dalton Freakin’ Ross?! Enjoy!
(And please, if you haven’t already, check out this show. Enough is enough — it’s great. Watch. Thank you.)

Wait, Connie’s not married in real life?
So, Connie….when can I pick you up for dinner? And what, exactly, is your ring size?
Remember when she was on “The West Wing.” That was awesome.
WooHoo! Dalton asked — and Connie answered — my question! Connie loves me! The feeling is quite mutual. Great interview. Thanks, EW, for everything you do to bring awareness to this fantastic show.
YAY…my question got picked. But I think I liked Allison’s ? better – Connie is Awesome! I am going to start hanging out at Joe’s Coffee so I can see her and Kyle doing script reads. And anything that keeps Riggins around is OK with me!!!!!!!!!!
Clear eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t lose!
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HER
))))
Also, how does one begin to describe how awesome her hair is in this interview?
Actually, Dalton, it’s pronounced “Ce-ba-yos”
Still, all is ABSOLUTELY forgiven because you graciously decided to pick the question I submitted for one of my favorite and one of the best actresses on TV. Great job on the interview and I absolutely love this show!
Great interview, GREAT questions, and I loved Dalton’s shirt! As far as Riggins goes, I decided he flunked a few grades before he had rally girls doing his homework. But anything that keeps him around makes me happy.
Thanks for the interview. I love Connie. She is my favourite actress on TV at the moment. (And FNL of course my favourite show)
I love you Connie Britton!
Shenae Grimes from 90210 looks like a younger Connie.
I love this show and love everybody on it!!! Great interview and please everyone tell your friends and family to watch!!! I have to also say anything the keeps the Tim Riggins character on this show is okay with me..he is a doll..oh yeah did I mention I am 56 years old.
Love Connie, love the show, but I have to say it does bother me that Riggins, et al are seniors for the 3rd time. Oh well, no show is perfect and I love everything else about FNL!
Connie Britton… you freaking rock on so many levels! Emmy’s suck… people who refuse to watch this top notch excellent show suck… Give it a chance, people! I don’t care how old you are; young, old, short, tall, fat, slim, rich, poor, nerd, geek… anyone should love this show, unless your heart is made of stone. You will not regret it. Thanks for the great interview!
When and/or where did everyone get the assumption that Riggins, Lyla and Tyra were seniors in the first season? The “movie” was about a bunch of seniors, but when you’re starting a new t.v. series– assuming that you are going to be on for more than a year, why would you have most of your main characters technically out of the picture so soon? I don’t have sound on my computer, so I wasn’t able to hear Connie’s responses–what did she say about that? Please–anyone.
