Amyk – you are so immature. Those high marks you give BO for his academic record are neither accurate nor are they qualifications for the presidency.
He did not graduate magna cum laude from any school, nor did Palin flunk out of any university. She, like many Americans, had to leave school periodically to work to afford tuition. BO’s education was govt subsidized, as was his mother’s and father’s who was not even a citizen. Moreover, he was elected pres of H’s law review because he was black, and that is how Harvard acts. While on the review, he did nothing. He was a black figurehead. While in Chicago, he was a neighborhood trouble instigator, dividing the blacks and whites. Moreover, recently we found out how dems get ahead in Chicago.
Get in the real world – stop believing the BO blogs. Time will tell how unprepared this man is to be pres. In the meantime we all will suffer because you lefties wanted “change” – good or bad

just so you know, i know biden’s history quite well. if you look at his record, he’s pretty much been on the wrong side of major foreign policy issues for the last 20+ years. hard stand against soviets, gulf war, the surge for example. even president obama now agrees that the path taken for these issues were the correct ones. VP biden was on the wrong side on all of them. obviously he has the credentials and experience to be VP, it’s a matter of judgement. but apparently the people thought he would be fine.
i’m not bitter about defeat and i hope obama does well in the presidency. the country needs it. that being said, he won. it’s time for all of us, both sides, to stop with the hateful speech. it’s one thing to honestly criticize policy intelligently. it’s also something to poke fun at everybody…yes everybody. enough with this other stuff. we’re all supposed to be moving on as a country. let’s all take a step back and chill out.

So the same folks who insist that all Americans must make only positive remarks about our new president and administration are still making snarky comments about those from the other side of the aisle. And the remarks have nothing to do with Palin’s opinions or her political positions. The enlightened ones take it straight down to “white trash” or hoping for her death. Nice to see that political correctness only applies to certain groups. I doubt (and hope) that you would not reduce yourselves to such venomous comments if the pop watch blurb spoke of a member of a minority race, a non-Christian religion, or a person that lived an alternative lifestyle.
