I was horribly bored but fortunately I DVR-ed it and was able to fast forward through most of it. The biggest problem is the lack of credible comedic female talent. Kristin Wiig constant repeat of the same character in different guises will kill the show. Additionally, for anybody who works or goes to school, the shows being parodied, Today Show fourth hour, and Suze Orman, are simply shows only seen via the parody.
The writers seem afraid to take on anything edgy except politically. How much more scatological and homophobic humor can we hear?
Take on Idol, 24, Heroes, Chuck, House, Fringe, etc.

TOTALLY AGREE with you, Mike. Kristen is the best, and I often compare her to those three hilarious SNL women from the 90s I miss seeing. However I did not think the Gilly skit was funny at all. It was beneath her. Overall I wasn't a fan of the Rosario Dawson episode, especially since it was just one week after the hilarious episode starring Neil Patrick Harris. Anyway, check out Kristen Wiig when she was in the Joe Schmo show – she was just as awesome in that.

Kristen Wiig has wrinkles around her mouth like it was open for hours at a time. But that would explain why she isnt funny but still has a job.

Gilly needs a little work. Wiig might have something there, However, she’s a good actress but she’s trying to hard to BE funny when there is no reason to try. Uhm, ok. I get it, Fred is half Latino. Kudos to him for representing his culture but he’s still not funny. Fleet Foxes were great. They were a throwback to late 60′s early 70′s southern california rock like The Quicksilver Messenger Service.

That Seth Meyer line was the funniest thing of the night. Almost everything else was seriously lame. Although, I did find the Policia sketch somewhat funny. The good excuses sketch, the D.A.R.E ad & the one with Kristen Wigg as some freaky touble making kid were especially horrible. As for Fleet Foxes, I had never heard of them, but now I’m interested in learning more about them.
