Last night’s Saturday Night Live was hosted by Seven Pounds star Rosario Dawson, and I’m pretty sure I only laughed about seven times. Read the full post.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is not an “ultra conservative.” But YOU are an idiot hack writer.
I laughed my ass off at the Gilly skit. I always get a good chuckle from Weekend Update. I thought it was a decent episode.
I also have no doubt that I can write better comedy than these so-called professional writers for SNL who are obviously digging deep already.
I actually thought weekend update was pretty good. And the concept of the cold opening was pretty clever. I also like the spanish skit written by third graders because I’ve spent a lot of my life intently studying foreign languages so the dialogue was kind of amusing.
I love SNL and usually defend it against the anti-Tina Fey troglodytes and the like, but last nights episode was awful.
Hands down the 2 best things on SNL last night were Seth Meyers and Fleet Foxes.
Seth always brings the funny.
The best thing to ever happen to snl hands down: Norm Macdonald, comedic genius, other than that, the show currently is bad
I was too tired to watch last night, but I LOVE Fleet Foxes! I bought their cd at Starbucks in October and bought another copy for my dad for X-mas. They were also recognized on NPR’s yearend list of the best cd’s for 2008.
This was one of worst SNL. Rosario is a very talented person but SNL didn’t do her any favors.
I love Rosario Dawson but I feel the SNL writers really let her down. I turned SNL off twice in frustration.
Maybe the weakest of the season, or even of the past three years….but STILL funnier than the cursed 93-94 season.
Agree with you totally, probably the worst of the season and the only funny bits were the always solid Seth Meyers and The View sketch.
gilly! Did you just shoot me in the foot?
Sorry.
I liked that skit
I LOVE THE FLEET FOXES. ive known about them since last spring and im obsessed. i agre that last nites show was alright. ive DEFINATLEY laughed a lot harder.
Based on EW’s endorsement, I actually watched a DVR-ed SNL from last week with Neil Patick Harris. But I was completely diappointed. I felt like Neil had nothing to work with. The one skit with “Two First Names” went completely nowhere and was embarrassing. I think most of the posters on this message board could write better skits.
