I am a huge fan of Supernatural, but I hate the fans who only talk about how hot Dean and Sam are. I will admit I don’t really like new characters. I have to warm up to them. I DID like Ruby but I don’t like the new actress…and the only reason Supernatural posts get so many comments is because fans are excited the show got a LITTLE promotion -_-
I don’t really dislike many fans. Idol fans can get on my nerves. I enjoy the show but don’t get in arguments with me just because I don’t like your favorite.
Also Twilight fans, though not in general. I enjoy Twilight but I HATE the girls who only post about how hot Edward is. There’s more to the series than Edward. If I hadn’t read Twilight before they hype I never would have picked it up because of these girls
Note to Non-Buffy fans – If we’re STILL talking about it…it must’ve been amazing, aye? For the buzz to stay alive THIS LONG….come on. Give credit where credit is due.
And Shannon – Only one with insufficient taste would say BROTHERS AND SISTERS is better than Buffy. Where are you from? Kansas!?
I love EW’s continuous support for Whedon, Buffy, Dollhouse, and all the like. It’s great television. Then, now, and in the future. Time won’t change that.

Please deliver me from any and all reality show fans. Are they just plain stupid or did the aliens forget to remove their anal probes? And the worst..fans of Flav O flav..or koolaid or flavor aid or whatever his name is…isn’t anyone going to help those poor people? Hey I know..send them to the island of LOST!!!!!!

Hey Matt2 you should give slumdog a chance it did win the oscar for best picture and trust me its a great movie. I hate the show lost because the people on the island always have the greatest outfits and makeup on. The producers of the show need to stop hating on other shows for stealing its ideas because most of their ideas were done already to in on way or another. Damages is the best show on televison. Lost needs to end and when it does I hope its a sopranos type ending where all of its fans are angry and they wasted all that time doing rescearch to find out what is going on in each episode.
I’m a big Lost fan but many fans of the show get on my nerves. It’s usually a divide between the Mythology fanatics and the ‘shippers. I appreciate both the character driven episodes and the mythology episodes and I can’t understand why some people can’t just relax and just appreciate it on a simple level – a complex action and character driven piece of entertainment. The uber-fans of the show get so wrapped up in details of shadows seen and unseen on screen, what someone said or didn’t say, the fact that so-and so wore a white t-shirt in one scene and an off white t-shirt in another scene – it’s gotten to the point where you’d think that people who call themselves fans of the show actually hate the show! Many Lost fans have missed the point of television in general – it’s entertainment folks! That’s all! They can be annoying as hell.
Hey all I can say is being a diehard fan of anything, whether its a show or sports team is good. It gets you involved in a hobby and develops a passion for something. If you want to wear costumes at their events or endlessly quote lines no problem. The only issue I have with any fan is when they take it beyond themselves or group and force others to “appreciate” it. Go ahead and decorate your cubical with everything that is Star Trek or use Buffyisms. Just don’t expect everyone to play along with you or invade anyone elses space.
