Earlier this week, when I used the "I think this line’s mostly filler" lyric from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode in the headline Read the full post.

DHo has some anger issues.
Current TV: The Amazing Race – I like the show, but I cannot for the life of me understand why it keeps winning an Emmy and all the fans are snobby because of that.
Past TV: Bevis and Butthead fans really need to grow up and get over that show. Men in their 30′s and 40′s still quote the show.
American Idol fans….that show is sooo over! It’s the same every year! Get over it! Everyone knows if you really care about who wins you don’t need to watch until the top 10 at least.
Supernatural’s fans. Every time any Popwatch item or news piece ANYWHERE references Supernatural in the tiniest way, the comments section gets instantly filled with comments about how it’s the greatest thing to grace the television screen, how the two male leads are the reincarnations of Orson Welles and Sir Laurence Olivier, and how the CW doesn’t do anything to promote it. Honestly, the CW is wise in not promoting! The fans shove it down everyone’s throats enough already!
i agree..24 fans.
it’s not that the show is unrealistic (i actually ENJOY that in a show)..it’s that the fans I KNOW are rude..”HOW CAN YOU NOT WATCH THAT SHOW??? IT’S SOOOO GOOD!!!”
UM..ok…cuz i just DON’T…sheesh..
that, and The Biggest Loser fans.
yes, it’s real, and yes..these people are working hard, but the majority of the contestants don’t have glandular problems..they haven’t gotten off the couch or put down the cookies. neither did my gramma..she didn’t get her own show.
(catty, i know..but there it is)

I tend to really dislike Heroes fans. The show is not saying anything that has not been said by Marvel in one way or another.
I am also a huge Buffy fan. In reviewing the series, I have found some potholes in the plot and acting. However, the major message still rings bright and true ten years on: it is not who you are, but what you do that makes you who you are. There is such commitment and integrity in the show that is hard to find in today’s shows. I do not know another show that has such a heroine. I fear that it was only allowed to exist because it flew under the radar.
Greys Anatomy fans drive me crazy! My friends, sister, and roommate all watch that ridiculous excuse for a television show, and drive me crazy talking about it in the process!
American Idol fans, starting with EW’s Idol groupie, Michael Slezak. It’s glorified karaoke, folks……..I watch it too, but it’s still karaoke….
I HATE the fans of ‘ The Hills ‘ … really? you are a fan of that pathic show ? … really???
Mad Men fans. Look, I’m a major fan of period dramas. Was raised on Masterpiece Theater and old movies. I know when something is good. Mad Men is not that good, period. I can’t believe people think this is, like, the greatest show ever. The characters are ridiculously stereotypical, the historical references are off-target, and Matt Weiner can’t write dialogue! I’ve completely lost faith in the tv critics because they love this dreck.
I will say I’m not that crazy about the Whedonites either. I can rationalize why people liked Buffy, Angel, and Firefly. But these shows were more “clever” than “brilliant”. Why they worship Joss Whedon to the degree they do I’ll never get.
Mandi, it’s not that hard to watch an episode of Lost, but it seems like you’d struggle to get through an episode of The Hills, so Lost probably is a little over your stupid head.
Ooh, I agree, Supernatural fans (though I am one myself). I just hate it when any girl gets cast in more than 1 episode and all the fans are like “OUR boys don’t need any girls to make them happy, they have US!!” I actually LIKED Katie Cassidy and Alona Tal and wanted them to stick around!
I don’t have a particular TV show whose fans I hate. I have types of fans that I hate. Namely, obsessed shippers who can’t accept that other fans might not share the same opinion or love for their ship.
Supernatural! God, whenever this girls are asked why the show is good their first response is to say that the two leads are “hot”. Come on, the show is already in a crappy network and when you try to convince people to watch it, your argument is that the two stars are hot??? And then, they fight themselves to see which character gets more attention, which one is the favorite, who has more screentime: Sam or Dean. And it gets worse: they do like something called Wincest! Sex. Between the two BROTHERS!!!!!!
