A few days ago we were tantalized by a 30-second clip of Kelly Clarkson’s new single, "My Life Would Suck Without You", and now New York radio station z100.com (among other places) has the full version. And wow, does it deliver — it’s wilder than Drew Barrymore’s hair at the Golden Globes. "Suck" is a driving, pulsing, "get out of your chair and dance around the room pronto" anthem to love, contrition, and blissful co-dependence. As Kelly sings: "I know that I have issues, but you’re really messed up too/Either way I found out, I’m nothing without you". Plus, there’s a totally kicking guitar solo. I love the song! I keep pressing play over and over again because it’s so catchy! It probably is to coincide with American Idol but they had a nice rollout of the song from showing the cover first, then the lyrics, then a snippet, and finally the full song! I think she should be one of the mentors on American Idol this season- that would coincide with the release of her album too!
As much as I love love loved “My December”, I’m glad she’s headed back toward the mainstream. This is good music! Very catchy. I’m sure we’ll be hearing on the radio.

Really, really weak, craven attempt to replicate ‘Since U’ve been gone’ pop magic. Can’t blame ‘em for trying, but nowhere near as hot a track.
