My response when I first saw a trailer for a movie called Hotel For Dogs was, Seriously? Damn you, Beverly Hills Chihuahua! But now that I’ve seen the trailer below — complete with Lisa Kudrow, and Kevin Dillon, and a line of pups pooping on makeshift toilets — I’m forced to face that fact that I probably will see this movie (you know, just so you guys don’t have to). Anyone else feeling the ice around his or her heart melting?
P.S. If you had Don Cheadle in your movie, wouldn’t you make sure he was in every trailer and not just this one?

Well, one thing is “Hotel for Dogs” is, at least, based on a beloved children’s book. I’m 27 now and I used to read it as a kid. “Beverly Hills Chihuahua”…not so much based on a book.
I could have sworn I saw a trailer for this Hotel For Dogs over a year ago. Usually isn’t a good sign. I love Lisa Kudrow though!
Yep. Rob is correct. Before author Lois Duncan wrote teen thrillers, she wrote a children’s novel called Hotel for Dogs. It was published in 1971. I am surpised that it took Disney so long to make it into a film?
Wait a minute–Don Cheadle is in this movie? The paycheck couldn’t have been *that* good.
No way.
My question is why is it called Hotel for Dogs instead of Dog Hotel or something? Is it just me or does Hotel for Dogs just seem unnatural to say? It doesn’t really roll off the tongue.
Was this movie delayed? I, like Jack, feel like I saw a trailer a really long time ago – my kids agree. They don’t know yet that a delayed film is usually a poor film!
I saw it last night, I’d have been a total hater if not for Cheadle. It’s not a Disney movie but it sure felt like it. Poor Kudrow.
As someone who’s adopted 2 stray dogs, I have to say that I was skeptical about this movie. But the trailer had me with the vending machine full of shoes. I don’t know if I’ll pay to see it in the theater, but I’ll almost definitely rent it.
How you got me to watch two trailers for “Hotel for Dogs” is beyond me.
i was sold once i saw emma roberts, johnny simmons, and Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place).
