Next to my wedding day and — well, that’s about it — the day The Bachelor premieres is always the happiest day of my life. And honestly, I think The Bachelor: Ready-Made Family, Just Add Wife is going to be the best season ever. Based on that two-hour premiere, it’s clear Jason has just the right blend of charm and low self-esteem, and that cast of 25 (now 15) "ladies" certainly rivals previous casts in the crazy department. No spoilers here, but Renee and her "vision boards" is my new favorite bachelorette ever, bumping out Allie (aka Ms. "My Eggs Are Rotting") from Travis’ season. Hate most of the ladies but L-O-V-E Jason. He is the best bachelor yet. DeAnna Pappas will surely shake things up, Bit*h.
I think I like the woman who got the 1st impression rose (Nicki?) best followed by the widowed Stephanie. It seems that most of the women are nice and there for the right reason. I wish DeAnna wasn’t coming back. Woman, you had your chance and you blew it. Now, it’s someone else’s turn. She can’t just decide that since it didn’t work out with Jesse, she wants Jason back. You lost your mind and your chance when you chose incorrectly. I hope Jason finds what he’s looking for and lives happily ever after.

What the heck is Deanna doing back? Why would she want to mess with Jason like that? I thought she would pick him, but she didn’t and now that she is done bumping knuckles with the other dude she thinks she made a mistake and wants Jason back. And she couldn’t have done this before he agreed to be the bachelor? Whatever.
I do not like the widow, she has eyebrow issues or something. I really liked the mom of the 2 kids, but she had no time with Jason (that we saw). The women he chooses needs to watch her mouth (Megan) and respectfully and not bitchy or slutty or get drunk off the free booze. And not be a stalker (dental hygienist girl). He is smokin’ HOT! What a bod! Good Luck Jason!!
I’ll probably be in the minority, but I hope, hope, HOPE Deanna comes back and they end up together. That would fulfill ALL of my The Bachelor dreams and wishes!! And then I’ll consider getting a life, ABC…so help a girl out!
uhhh was i the only one shocked by the previews (which is really all i saw) and how much of a man-ho jason was being…you would think with a kid he’d behave a little better….
oh – and man that deanna just wants her own reality show or something. go away.
Anyone remember when Deanna broke up with Jesse? Where does her “returning to the show” fit into that? It would seem it was awfully close after they split…maybe the reason why?
Do we really think that DeAnna wants Jason back? I am thinking that maybe we saw a very misleading clip and she is just saying that she made a mistake (in rushing in too soon, in judging the guys, not necessarily in not choosing Jason…but maybe in leading guys on, I don’t know) and she just wants to be there to give him some advice and wish him luck (oh, and pick up a fat check from abc). Also, do you think ABC got Jason a trainer to get ready for the show? And, what was with all the cleavage tonight? Sick! How about some more classy, modest gals for this single dad?
I love love love this season so far, I cracked up at least a dozen times. These women are insane! Where do they keep getting them?

My choices so far: the green dress girl who got “voted out”, and the girl with the bangs pouf (Megan?). I was surprised at a lot of the women he picked, he clearly can’t spot the crazies. Should be a fun season
The ONLY part of this premiere that mattered was the “This season on The Bachelor…” montage with DeAnna’s reappearance! This is either going to turn out to be just a stupid publicity stunt to get us to watch or the greatest season ever!
Disappointed that Jason was not open to meeting any women of color, he missed out on introductions to Asian, Black, Indian, and more Latin women! What a shame, he limited himself, and our/America’s viewing experience. I am really disappointed in the show, I will not continue to watch this season of the bachelor.

You know, it scares me to say this but after that introduction of those terrible women, I’m almost hoping Jason will get back together with Deanna. They were quite atrocious and he let go some interesting ones who didn’t get to show their personality (spunky Nicole, and sweet mom Stacia). I guess Nikki and Lauren will probably be the final 2.
Wow. Just wow. There are some CRAZY women on this show. Never ceases to amaze me…and even after the freaked out look he got from ms. teeth stalker woman he kept her? Yikes! I was shocked to see Deanna back but ABC is always trying to fool people with misleading clips. I’m thinking she’s just there to offer advice and support. But I have to say, that takes a lot of balls to see him again. Regardless, she made the most ridiculous mistake not picking Jason, who I think is great.
Ok. I’m from Seattle and Jason gave an exclusive interview to our local TV station. Quote “Jason says he’s not spoken to Deanna and there’s no reason too” note this interview is current (he says he’s engaged) So obviously he’s not picked her.

Out of 11 women, 10 are giggly, immature, have fashion issues, appear slutty, etc. Not excited about the picks. Don’t think Jason was being honest with what type women/mother he wants. Poor Ty, he’ll be caught in the middle of a bad choice.
Jason, what were you thinking? Letting Nicole, (bought and wore an orange dress for the first meeting because it’s Ty’s favorite color and sat by politely while the poet read her poem), you let her go and kept Stalker/Teeth Girl, oh dear!
Aside from that not a bad first night…not sure why not even one of these well educated ladies noted that by voting for the girl to go, it would lead to her getting a rose! And I am thinking after tonight’s show, the wedding planner may need to find a second job…looking forward to next week!
I’m thinking ABC just did a major editing job to make it look like Deanna was back for another shot at Jason. It was probably some totally boring reason that she was there for. I was spending wayyy too much time with slo-mo trying to figure out who all the women are towards the home town and island visits. All I could really guess was it looked like the short brunette from Dallas (Melissa?) made it for the island trip and maybe Naomi was climbing the REI rock in Seattle for a home town visit.
Why is this show still on? Please cancel as soon as possible.
Never watched the show, so I got a couple of questions. How long has this show been on and how many have actually worked out?
This is by far the “worst” batch of girls EVER to be on The Bachelor. They all acted immature and like 13 years olds. Jason needs a mature, but fun loving woman, not these immature teen age acting girls. I now hope that he and Deanna get back together.
I hope against all hope that Deanna returns to claim the man she SHOULD have chosen in the first place. But I agree with others that that is exactly what ABC WANTS us to believe might happen, so it never will. Of the others, my early pick is Melissa (from Dallas). But I don’t feel like we really got a complete feel for her, so that might change later. I wish he would have kept Nicole (in the orange dress). From the previews for the season, they make it seem like he ends up picking a smaller, dark-haired, darker complected girl. Uh…no…I wasn’t rewinding and slow-mo’ing to try to figure out who this reality love show contestant picks for his “wife”. I have MUCH better things to do. Ahem. ;0)

Someone should call DYFUS on the bachelor for letting his child appear on a reality show and using his single-parent status to get (more)media attention. Disgusting. ABC should be ashamed of itself.

I missed last week’s episode and was so looking forward to the 2nd show but will not watch this season. ABC has hit a new low by setting up a girl to go home by the other girls and then keeping her for cat fight drama.
how fake can one really be to be on this horrible show!!! why on earth would anybody in their right mind lower themselves to such a level! oh wait….they don’t even know how low they are!
I hope Melissa wins his heart she is the best. Molly is always fake, I can’t believe that she is still in the top three. Jason should not have let Stephanie go, I think he will regret it. I think Jillian has a good chance, but I hope not. Melissa Rules!!!
This has got to be he most “fake” reality show yet. Do people honestly believe that? Those women are low life attention-money seekers, even the ones that appear to be “nice.”
Who would purposely “compete” with other women for the supposed man of their dreams, somebody they don’t know, but somebody they DO know is dating, encouraging, even having sex with other women at the same time?
On last nights show the man says in one segment it is the happiest day of his life (because he has made a decision). On another segment of the same show he says it is the saddest day of his life because somebody’s heart will get broken. Women that would “settle” for a man who loved two (or more) women romantically, but still loved them best or chose them over the other one they also “loved” well, such a woman does not think much of herself, deep down!
