No, it doesn’t make you a dork. I’m always trying to figure out how to use exchanges like “Elvis didn’t expectorate on his fans!” “No, but he died on the toilet” in conversation. Or “Hey, Sergeant Pepper, where’s the rest of the Lonely Hearts Club Band?” “Looks like you ate them.”
