In 2006, Matt Harding traveled to 39 different countries, all so he could videotape himself doing a funny little jig. When his video went viral he received so many emails from all over the world that he decided to do it again, but this time he invited his fans to dance with him. Here’s the awesome result.

Someone @ work sent this around a few months ago, with “Where the Hell is Matt?” as the subject line. At first, I was completely mortified that someone was so angry at this “Matt” person and their absence from their cube (I was new). But seeing the video made me forgive the mass email – and it also made me kind of cry a little bit, though I’m not too sure why. It’s a great one!
Yes! It made cry a little, too, once everyone rushed in to dance with him. I think it’s an inate joy at seeing people just letting loose and having fun together, regardless of anything else going on in the world.
I, too, have tears in my eyes. And the kids were hilarious! They really are the same no matter where you go.
oh, i am so glad i am not the only one who got teary-eyed! that was awesome.
just really cool. you can’t help but smile when you see him dancing up there…and then again when everyone starts to join in.
Oh man, how fun would it be to be this guy? The UN should make him one of their peace ambassadors.
wow that was powerful!!!
Best bit was at the DMZ, dancing next to that serious soldier.
Entertaining, heartwarming and not a lifetime movie! Loved it!
I teared up too. That was frikkin awesome.
That was amazing. I was teary, too, but smiling at the same time. I loved it when everyone ran in to dance, but my favorite part was him dancing next to the soldier in the DMZ.
I saw this a while ago, and i LOVE it. It really makes your heart swell up watching it.
love the video. especially like the fact that it opens with him dancing his jig in mumbai. very symbolic considering the recent events there.
I normally hate words like “heartwarming” but there’s really no better way to describe that video. It just reminds us that no matter where we are or what we look like, sometimes you just gotta dance!
I was sent this fantastic video several months ago, and I have watched it so many times. It makes me beam every time, and is often just the thing I need to get through a tough day.
