"I have been awake for almost 60 hours. I’m tired and I’m dirty. I have been from Chicago to Paris to Dallas to… where the hell am I?… I am trying to get home to my eight-year-old son. And now that I’m this close, you’re telling me it’s hopeless?… No, no, no, no, no, wait. This is Christmas. The season of perpetual hope. And I don’t care if I have to get out on your runway and hitchhike. If it costs me everything I own. If I have to sell my soul to the devil himself, I am going to get home to my son." –Kate McCallister (Catherine O’Hara) yelling at a Scranton ticketing agent in Home Alone.

Awesome clip. Great Movie.
Amd Airports should be avoided at all costs if possible during the X-mas season. (I’ve had more friends with horror stories this year then any other – and Xmas isn’t even here yet)
Love this line; I plan to use it against my family if they get out of line this week. Plus, it’s the reason I had a vague idea of Scranton’s existence pre-Office.
the most underrated actress ever
Just watched this on Saturday and when this bit came up, I couldn’t help but turn to my mom and comment on how good Catherine O’Hara is at delivering those lines. What a fabulous actress.
this and palnes ,trains, and automobiles have been my go to thought everytime i see any coverage of the snow storms currently affecting holiday travel this last week. poor people.
What an underrated actress… I remember thinking, at a very young age, that she was amazing in that movie. Great scene!
