Gymnasium treadmillls are a beautiful thing — not because they allow Catholics like me to attend to my own version of Mass (that is, the mass around my gut and thighs) — but they allow me to rediscover old shows that I never watched (or rebuffed). I speak of Las Vegas, that sexy little confection from the good old days when NBC actually cared to run scripted series at 10 p.m. I knew Josh Duhamel was hot (a few of us lucky souls from EW actually ran into him at an L.A. sushi joint last year and hooked him up with some free Sapporo) but he’s downright thermogenic in the show that’s now airing in repeats at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. PT on TNT. Such a flesh magnet, that Fergie boy toy is! In back-to-back episodes, Duhamel inspired two comely brunettes to flash him their boobs. So lusty! Then he straightened his tie and did important things like monitor hotel surveillance cameras for card counters and stuff. So commanding! He makes those 40 minutes on the elliptical trainer practically fly by (practically).
How about you? What TV oldie makes you sweat at the gym? And is anyone else still watching Las Vegas (or at least Duhamel) in TNT reruns?

I watch Las Vegas everyday!!!!!!! I love that show!!!
I’d be afraid to watch something so…distracting, I’d probably fall off the stairclimber. Besides, my gym is full of hotties ;P
Las Vegas is my favorite show, I dvr both episodes every day on TNT, they need to come out with a finale show or movie, the producers did us wrong!
Ahhh, Mr. Duhamel doth make my heart flutter so. For those of us who remember him from his Leo duPres/All My Children days, he has always delivered.
Las Vegas was one of my favorite shows. Why can’t we have it back to see how it all ends. Everyone on the show was perfect for the roles they played.

Indeed! it’s too bad that LV turned absurd after, er, Lara Flynn Boyle’s character blew off the rooftop!? Still, JH is so YUM…nothing can change that!
YES! I watch Las Vegas on the treadmill! Also, ER and Dawsons Creek (when they ran morning reruns on TBS).
I’ve never watched it, I probably never will watch it, but I need a larger version of that photo immediately.
I miss “Las Vegas” so much! NBC made a huge mistake. I’m glad we have re-runs, but it would have been great to know how the series would have ended. With it running in syndication, NBC was very short-sighted in not giving it an ending not to mention disloyal to its fans. They took away its original time slot to give it to a crappy reality show & stuck it in the Friday night abyss. Of course it would lose viewers! Arghhhhh NBC! I guess I didn’t realize I had so much pent up frustration about this.
As a Culver City resident I must add that Las Vegas shot in our fair city and every time I saw those location trucks I tried to catch a glimpse of the Duhamel. LV (the show) is perfect cheesy fun.
i love this show too! im quite ticked that they didn’t give us a good ending, if there was any way to bring the show back i would in a heartbeat. it was perfect tv, it wasnt suppose to be real more of just a cheesy fun show that could put you in a good mood when you watched it.

I never missed an episode on NBC and I still watch reruns on TNT. It would have been great if there were new episodes coming out, but that requires the NBC execs to have some common sense. Like that will ever happen!
I LOVE Las Vegas! I never missed an episode. I was pregnant when the show ended and was sobbing to think they might lose their baby. I’ve been left hanging! I have a healthy baby and just know that they doo, too.

When TNT was airing “Angel” in the AM, I used to bike/walk/jog while lusting after David Boreanaz. Eyeballing a hot guy (whether on tv or actually at the gym) really does help time fly. Besides, seeing all the gorgeous gals that litter those shows doubles as major motivation!
I LOVE Las Vegas & am still sour at NBC for cancelling it!!!! Bring back good T.V!!!
I have “Las Vegas” Sundays where I dvr all the episodes on tnt and then stay at home all day Sunday and watch them!

Las Vegas was my fav guilty pleasure. I discovered it in its second to last season and netflixed all the prior episodes. Danny, Ed and Mike. Good times.

Las Vegas was such a sexy, fun show. All the men where hotties including Josh. Loved Leisure and Selleck too. I totally miss that show and NBC was really lame for cancelling it with that cliffhanger.

I used to love LV until the writers ruined it by breaking up Danny and Mary to put him with that twit Delinda. I quit watching after that so no, I don’t miss it. It was time for it to end as it was getting beyond stupid. As for Josh, he was always good-looking and still is. I LOVED him as Leo duPres on ALL MY CHILDREN, but I think fame has gotten to him, as he no longer keeps in touch with his former “good friends” from the soap world. There’s just no good excuse to ignore the people who were his friends when he was basically still a “nobody”. Now that he’s “somebody”, he never gives them a second thought. Somewhere between then and now, Josh lost his integrity. He’s gorgeous for sure, but looks aren’t everything. JMO.
