OMG you guys! I just saw the most amazingest "trailer" ever for the "new" Thundercats "movie," "starring" Brad Pitt as Lion-O, Hugh Jackman as Tygra, and Vin Diesel as Panthra! Check it out below! Thundercats, HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Although, yes, there is an actual Thundercats movie that’s supposedly in the works (though it would be all CGI…darnit), this trailer is just a brilliant, hysterical, horrifying, and sublime mash up of tons of other movies, with some clever Photoshopping to boot. I caught clips from Troy, Stargate, The Chronicles of Riddick and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. What movies did you see tucked inside these 2 minutes and 32 seconds of kitchy greatness?

Farscape, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, Lord of the Rings, Spy Kids.
Well duh! Mortal frigging Combat 1! Like the music was not a give away. But still being a kid in the 1980’s, Thundercats were HUGE! This movie will have the same people who saw Transformers in the IMAX theaters.
Stargate, Aliens and a couple different Star Wars movies.

I saw Galaxy Quest, several apes from The Planet of the Apes, and Garfield was snarfified.
That was better than half the trailers out right now.

I’m sure someone caught the armored personnel carrier from Aliens? I loved how they took Tim Roth from Planet of the Apes and used him for Monkey-Man. Quality!
The opening sword scene is from Masters of the Universe.
WilyKit and Kat are the two kids from Spy Kids.
1. Cheetaras hair style was copied from both Farscape and Cleopatra 2020, aka: “Skinamax bimbos on parade”.
2. The Meteor scene was right out of Armegeddon (but I am sure that this movie will be better).
3. Snarf was Garfeild-afied! Yes, that’s true!
4. The Pyramid for Mum-rah was totally ripped off from Stargate.
5. I too saw the armored personnel from Aliens.
But it’s going to do well nevertheless.
Wow, that was incredible! I want to see that one, not some lame-o CGI thing. Whoever made that faux-trailer is brilliant.

Uh… Stephanie…. that was Farscape as well as everything else you mentioned. Perhaps you should re-read the story…
