I always preferred his old moniker, plain old Sam Jackson, but now that he’s 60, I’m feeling the dignified vibe he was goingfor with that middle initial. Plus, Jackson could read the phonebook and make it sound totally bad-ass, and it’s fun to think of him sayingSamuel "Ayyyl" Jackson. Of the zillions of priceless lines he’s uttered over the years (the NSFW Snakes on a Plane quote, clip after the jump) my favorite (as well as Dave Chappelle’s) is still the one in A Time to Kill.
